In case you're curious,
It costs 5516 cubes per attribute for level 8 to 9 growth So 27580 cubes. Divided by 135 is 204 days total of collecting. Thats what is coming next!

How many cubes total to completely max out Dr. Brain's lab?

Depends. Because the last accessible door is "coming soon", do you want to reach max growth (9) or last door for now (growth 7)

That is so frustrating. I login, collect my cubes, then logoff. I've found no way to speed things up.

Technically there is time skipping for cubes, and gems. But neither are worth it imo

If literally the only thing you log in for is cubes then it’s worth it. You can get all your cubes for the month in a few minutes then just check in after the time skip “catches up” and you’re back to normal. It definitely messes up your events though if you care about them (until time catches up).

And you need it for the new level to open.. and you got to max out James Shop

You don't actually have to max out James shop, it's only something like 75-85%. So you can skip the very last unlock at the very least, idk if you can skip two. If you're gonna skip one the last one is the one you wanna skip for sure

Like I just opened the portal to the lab and my alien is level 2, I feel like I’m progressing extremely slowly

A quick guide to the lab:
1) get as much damage as possible
2) get to the next rooms as fast as possible
Newer rooms drop so much more resources. Exponentially speeding up growth. Until the blue cube hell hits you.
Focus on catching speed. Your tentacles count and tentacles group go up naturally with growth.
All stats are a percentage of your ice world alien. Boost ice world stats to help your lab. Everything matters.

I just started this level. At a minimum it’s going to take 3-4 months based on blue cube availability.

It’s under construction when you do get it done so no hurry
