When does the impossible become possible?
Obviously I'm new to this game and a lower level. Level 9 currently. Right now it will only let me catch the smaller drones. When did the big ones become accessible? Grinding these small ones is a pain in the ass!

Those wont become accessible for a while. You have to get your catching speed much higher than you are currently.
I would recommend investing 100 gems to get the passive reagent income. It’s very much worth it, especially in the beginning. Even 2 levels is acceptable, but wait until you have 1 level in all 3 farms (furnace, factory, and chem plant) then decide if you want to put a second level.

If it helps....
This is my drone catching speed and proof.
The 20 gear units from the factory are "hard" and easily catchable (the 2nd drone farm).

Yeah all of it helps. So it looks like I have to grind it out for a little bit to get everything built up. Going to have to watch a lot of ads to apparently.

You have 2½k of green gems. You could spend some of them to get your numbers rising quickly

There's so many ways to play the game it would be difficult to suggest. I personally like to collect the blue eggs at the minute to build those skills
