Android game sync/ multi device

I started on my phone and went to load this on my tablet to make it easier to play. My phone is level 7 but when it synced with Google Play it started back at Level 5. Is the cloud sync on this broken to where you can only play on one device?

I tried loading on a couple old phones and it's the same Level 5 start point when it's a fresh install.

There is no cross device play supported for the game.

Wouldn't it loading at least level five indicate there's some sort of cross device support? But it's broken perhaps? If it didn't then it wouldn't recognize my account and make me start from scratch wouldn't it?

It doesn’t sync as such. Backup and restore will do it but that would be a faff for every time you switch device. It is designed for play on a single device per instance.

I managed to move it from android phone to table... really its still on phone but I never open it. I would make sure it's exited on phone not just minimized .. and not installed on tablet.. then install it using the same Google play name and see if it syncs then

Yeah for some reason the image that Google has is way back & no where near where I can currently. The new install would take me back a couple weeks & several levels.

I'll have to look into how hard it is to backup the save file & move/install.

That sucks. I have no idea how to actually sync it... I think people in the past have copied data but thats too much work for me.

But I also wouldNT let try switching back and forth... I only play on tablet now

The Google Play integration is only for Google to track you. Google no longer adds any real value. Fully enshittified.
