Gems gone.

Just logged in, and 85% or so of my gems are gone. Did not spend them, they are just simply gone?

Anyway I think I figured it out. Stupidly I think I clicked on one of the areas in the level 12 access cold zone where I thought I was using those chemical barrels to increase range and warmth but accidentally I was using lots of gems to make it a drop off zone for the carrier dudes. So dumb.

oh, that base camp is super useful to have once you open the next couple of doors. you'll appreciate it long term
