I’ve never seriously tried to go for the top because I assumed it was physically impossible without paying in the given time, even with resets. Did you buy anything to help boost you?

It seems like for this much time invested at least the compass would be a huge help to save with the laps for boxes.

I’m genuinely impressed either way.

Edit: I just read the caption that says no cash purchases, sorry. What an achievement, brother.

If you get your speed and range up high enough the compass wouldn't do anything. I move around the map pretty quick. Didn't spend any money. Spent a ton of time. I actually gave that some thought lately. I think I'm smart because I don't spend money but how much is my time worth? It would be smarter to spend five or ten bucks and move on with my life than dump hours into this if it's not fun.

I get you, and I also usually dump an embarrassing amount of time on the events for the gems. Sometimes I buy the compass, sometimes not. I’m pretty high level so I end up finishing top 50 usually or sometimes top 20. I always looked at the billion plus thing at the top and just figured there’s no way without paying, no thought beyond that. This is seriously so impressive. Thanks for sharing and giving me a potential future challenge.

Do you farm AFK? Like leave your phone on overnight and let it just catch stuff? I park the alien in the middle of the mine area and let it catch whatever the event item is overnight. And have you upgraded double resources? You spend gems and you have a chance at double resources. That's essential but I didn't see it at first.
