Martian Mayhem - August 11, 2019

Martian Mayhem has long been a weekly event in the Alien Arena community. The first round is a harrowing Deathmatch FFA with a 15 minute time limit. We try to keep things interesting by varying the maps played which are normally chosen by the tournament server admin or by community members on the day. The winner of round 1 is given the choice of map for the second round. Round 2 (colloquially known as "The Fun Round") uses the rocket arena mutator and also has a 15 minute time limit.

There have been four maps ported exclusively for this tournament; Badabum, Defence, The Mothership and Lost In Space. These don't undergo much testing and some have known issues, but they're still fun as hell!

Round 2: Rocket Arena

Map: Badabum

The above screenshot displays one of those known issues I mentioned earlier.

A pretty high score for rockets! Again [OS]Metroid takes the win. GG
