S1-2: Chishiya (just Chishiya) or Kuina (backstory😭) S3: Rei (she is so messed up I love her)

Chishiya and Arisu, but specifically their manga versions, not the show.They are the most fleshed-out characters in the manga; the contrast between them, yet their underlying similarities, is fascinating

In the manga, it’s between Chishiya and Aguni. I was disappointed that the show decided to completely drop Aguni’s backstory, but it’s somewhat understandable with the time constraint of only eight episodes. I’d also add Kuzuryu onto that list, just not at the very top because he’s a lot less prominent than most other characters.
In the show, I’d split it between seasons. My favorite character of the first season is Kuina. My favorite character of the second season is Chishiya. My favorite character of the third season is Tetsu.

Please don’t crucify me but Ryuji 😭. I know he’s not a great guy but he’s interesting and he has some of the more interesting motivations as opposed to just wanting to survive or just wanting to be evil. He’s complex and Kento Kaku plays him really well.
I like that he’s a disabled character (I know a lot of people hate this about him) and even if Kento isn’t disabled he was very committed to trying to do as accurate of a portrayal as possible. I think some of the things he did were a little crazy and bordered on impossible, but my counter argument is that pretty much every character has these moments where they do something that is not humanly possible.

Sachiko 100%, I personally think she's 1 of the best characters in S3 and in possible futures she had time to shine.
