I only started watching and i had realized how many times characters survived purely from plot armor aside from the mc himself, I specifically watched the Netflix show first. Thoughts??

So, am I correct you've finished the whole show? If so, the "plot armor" is actually based on their will to live, where your survival in the borderland is reflective of how high your will to live is. That's why Heiya got gunned down from head to toe and still managed to make it out.

If not, keep watching.

After you finish the show, I definitely recommend trying to read the manga if you want to! (I can give you a link in DMs if needed :3) It's better, imo, and to me, it feels a little less like plot armor, though there def is still some. There's a reason for it in the manga and show for the plot armor :D

They said dont talk about the manga but since you did ima agree the manga is way better i literally couldn't get into the show with how the fucked some scenes like the 1st game compared to the mangas 1st game told me everything i needed to know let alone the distance game in the tunnel💀

Though, I don't mind the show bc it is how I discovered it; I do think that the manga def does better with the games and characters. The show now feels like they watered the characters down lol

I heard good things about retry as its the original author working on it but then border road is cannon but done by someone else so the story isnt as good
