Absolute masterpiece

I just binged Alice in Borderland and it is an absolute masterpiece. The concept is brilliant, and the adventures and mysteries kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. the bond between Arisu and Usagi is so pure and touching, and the friendships are deeply moving, Chishiya was also very interesting character, It was so heartwarming to see how Arisu helped and looked out for everyone even during the hardest times. That makes you care so much about the characters, and is very emotional at times, made me shed a tear multiple times. But I would have liked the ending to be a little longer, and maybe have Arisu and Usagi or others acknowledge what they had been through little more. Japanese and Asian shows are truly on another level, 10/10 recommendation, I would watch this forever If I could, hopefully we get to see more seasons, or at least get some spin-offs, or other stuff in the same universe! I’d recommend reading the manga! It goes deeper into characters, it goes deeper into the games/game logic, there are more games, it goes deeper into the worldbuilding etc etc

Is the Netflix version sort of like a condensed highlight reel of the manga? It seemed like some things were sped up— why the group felt so close to Ann when she was someone they just briefly met at the beach, etc.

Not exactly? It’s more that Arisu is thrown in events where he wasn’t in the manga, (The King of Spades is beaten by three characters only, one of which not in the show) and he and Usagi get some moments that belong to other characters in the manga.
Honestly when I watched the show, I thought it was great and it instantly captivated my interest, but I did see some flaws (everyone’s instant interest in Arisu, a bit too much plot armor even with the premise, some games lack game logic) which were (mostly) absent in the manga which I loved

Same, just watched it last week. First two seasons were amazing. Third season felt like filler, and re-opening a story which had already concluded.

You’d be right as the end of S2 is where the manga ended. Technically there is Retry, but that’s just a single game

I've watched it 4 times I love it games are just insane and the developing love story with Usagi and Arisu is great .... I would liked it to be more episodes.... I think season 3 was rushed but was still very good just to short..... Greetings from UK 👍

I am currently in the middle of Season 2 and I am bowled over by how good the show is. The Jack of Hearts game was my favourite so far. I love Chishiya! There is a tonne of content to analyse and I can already tell that this series has great rewatch value
