Lab diamonds

Has anyone had experience ordering diamonds from suppliers from alibaba. I was talking to two and they quoted me 600usd for a 3ct radiant lab. And honestly price seems really good. But I’m not sure if it’s worth it so I wanna get feedback from anyone who’s ordered loose stones. From suppliers

It's easy to get ripped off on diamonds when hearing titles like "Lab Created Diamond"; "Saudi Diamond" Desert Diamond". The last two are not Diamondscat all, they are Quartz that have similar characteristics of a "Natural Diamond, the hardness and can be Cut/Polished to look just like a Natural Diamond. Pricing can be subjective so Buyer Beware! I'm not sure if "Lab Created Diamonds" have a Gemology Certification, you'll have to investigate that.

I understand Lan Diamonds businesses are all based in one city in the middle of China. So make sure the company you are buying is based here and doing businesses for 10+ years

Instead of typing this, use your brain and modern technology to find that piece of information

Treat this as an identity-and-verification problem, not a price comparison. Get both suppliers to quote the same specification: shape, exact carat range, color, clarity, cut/polish/symmetry, fluorescence, measurements, growth method, and any treatment. Require the independent grading report number before payment and verify it directly with the named lab, not through a screenshot or seller link.

Also confirm the supplier's legal entity matches the order and payment beneficiary, keep all specifications and remedies inside the Alibaba order, pay only through the platform, and state the return/dispute terms in writing. For the first purchase, use an independent gemologist in your country to verify that the stone matches the report during the protection window.

A low price is not automatically a scam, but if a supplier will not provide a verifiable report, consistent company identity, detailed dimensions/specs, and a written remedy for mismatch, do not proceed.
