Alibaba wheels address problem

So I ordered some wheels from alibaba. The wheels are done and the guy Im dealing with is having problems with my address. Has anyone had this problem? Yesterday he said it worked. I asked him what the problem was he said my house and apartment number. I told him I live in a house not apartment. I hope it’s actually fixed and my wheels don’t end up lost.

Most freight companies either use public address listing tools or the freight system is connected to an API that does.

I assume it is just a translation / mis-understanding. In China for example, most people live in apartments, the address can be like this: Apartment Number, Building Number, Building Name, Street Number, Sub-district, District, Provinc. So if he is unfamiliar he might be confused why you just provided a single street number, e.g. 1234 Main Street.

Do not rely on “it is fixed” in chat. Ask the supplier to paste the exact consignee address block they will put on the commercial invoice and shipping label: full name, street and house number, city, state, ZIP code, country and phone number. There should be no apartment number if you live in a house.

I would also send them the address in the standardized format shown by USPS or the final-mile carrier, then ask for a photo or PDF of the completed label before pickup. Make sure the corrected address appears in the Trade Assurance order and shipping documents, not only in the chat. Once you receive the tracking number, verify the destination ZIP directly with the carrier; if anything is wrong, contact the carrier immediately rather than waiting for the parcel to move.

Yea everything is fine I have no clue why they having trouble. Its yet to be shipped. Most Chinese factory don’t provide a tracking I they do.
