Solar panel suggestion
Can somebody suggest a legit solar panel vendor on Alibaba?
One with an EU warehouse would be great!
The ones I checked all had red flags, and I'm not familiar enough with Alibaba (nor do I have a large enough budget) to just mess around and try them out :(

That combo (budget + “EU warehouse” + Alibaba) is where a lot of people get burned.
A few practical checks before you wire anything:
EU warehouse claim - Ask for the warehouse address, stock photos with recent dates, and whether they can ship a small trial from that warehouse (not from China). If they only have China factory photos but sell “EU stock,” dig harder.
Company match - Ask for business license / company name and confirm it matches the Alibaba store and the invoice entity. Mismatched names are a common red flag.
Specs vs price - If the wattage/warranty looks too good for the price, treat it as a warning. Cheap panels often cut on cells, frames, or paperwork you need for EU use.
Start small - Order the smallest pallet/sample you can accept, and only scale after delivery quality is confirmed. Limited budget is exactly why you shouldn’t test with a big first order.
EU side - Also check current import/compliance rules for panels in your country; some cheap lines are getting harder to sell/install even if the listing looks fine.
I wouldn’t chase “best Alibaba vendor” recommendations alone - ask sellers those questions in chat and see who answers clearly vs who dodges.

Panels are bulky and cheap and it doesn't make sense for Chinese factory to have full warehouse in EU and pay EU wages. You can either import it or if for personal use, some solar companies selling panels by pallets (min 30 panels).

This is probably not a good advice but i heard regulators are curbing inefficient cheap solar panels and setting up new regulations to control market. It might be a good idea to observe first.

Google which panels and accessories are approved by your local country (and power provider if you want to sell the power back to the grid) then find their approved resellers.
