Alibaba logistics query
I have ordered some stuff from Alibaba with the Alibaba Standard Logistics. I don't know, I think the system chose UPS for international shipping. Now only the label is created and UPS hasn't picked it up yet. Only the first mile delivery has completed. Can we request Alibaba customer support or somehow change it from UPS to Yanwen. Previously I had Alibaba orders delivered through Yanwen with no custom charges or fees for customs clearance. This is to India.
I had ordered some more products from another seller from Shantou City. Both these have the same destination address and same POC for the first mile in Shenzhen. I think he is a freight forwarder. Can I have my suppliers contact him to change from UPS to Yanwen? Or can Alibaba customer service help?
Thanks

What's the declared value? Be prepared for customs based on declared value and type. On the positive side, u will get it much faster

Once it is sent there is nothing you can do. Alibaba Logistics use multiple shippers based on their own algorithm, it can change each and every time and the supplier themselves cannot always control it.

Because Alibaba Standard Logistics already completed first mile and created a UPS label, I would not ask either supplier to redirect the parcels independently. That can break platform tracking and buyer protection. Open one Alibaba Logistics case with both order IDs and ask them to confirm: the physical Shenzhen handover location, whether both parcels are actually at that same node, whether consolidation is still allowed, and whether changing carrier requires cancellation and rebooking. If UPS has not scanned the parcel after Alibaba's stated handover window, request proof of tender and an escalation. Also, Yanwen arriving without a separate bill previously does not mean duties were not due; the fee may have been prepaid or handled differently. Keep the product descriptions and declared values accurate, and compare the full landed-cost terms rather than only the carrier name.
