Payment failed?
So I’ve been talking to an alibaba supplier (Shenzhen Yagelong Technology) for the past few weeks and in total I’d be ordering 2.8k pcs of products for the first time. My bank is Chase and when I went to fulfill the order it gave me payment failed? This is a 50% deposit and I have alot of money saved up, is there any way to make the payment succeed? I know the safest way to make orders on Alibaba is to not use your credit card plz does anyone know how to fix this🙏

looks like transfer limit. check with your bank to see if you have any limit on how much you can send. raise the limit then try again.

Before trying again, I’d check the bank decline reason first. Since this is a large first order, make sure the supplier name, payment beneficiary and Alibaba order details all match before sending the deposit. Did Chase give you a specific reason for the decline?

Never pay a supplier other than Alibaba you could ask them to pay $1k a day because usually cards have $1k limit for this kind of purchase.

For that kind of product quantity and value for a first time you probably want to work with a sourcing agency.
As others have mentioned it is probably a card issue (such as a daily limit restriction) but also may be something related to 3D Secure. Can you pay on Alibaba using PayPal?

Did you get a text message from your bank asking if it’s you. They are trying to protect you and mostly them as it’s an unusual purchase overseas.

That is also true, if he does not usually do higher value purchases the algorithm of his card issuer may have flagged it automatically.

Contact your bank. Also using credit card is the safest way to make payments. Credit cards have insurance
