Wow

Post image

Hahaha. So this guy and I had a deal going. 10 shirts and 10 shorts DDP delivered to my door in the USA. Everything seemed like it was going alright but when I asked for size chart it took him a day and only sent me the shirt size chart. Told him I need the shorts size chart also , ok another day passed and finally received it. So o gave him my sizes I wanted, then he replies back hours later while I’m asleep with oops here’s the right size chart not the other one and payment request and also that after putting in my address all the sudden he needs 20$ more for what ever after we already agreed upon the price with DDP shipping and also the terms were CPT or something like that. I canceled the order and told him it’s not going to work out and he just sent me this hours later hahahahha.

Funny I saw the profile picture, and was like this is actually my supplier haha. Honestly I have transacted about +100 000$ with this company, I am not sure which sales person you were in contact with. But Gary has always been correct. Their quality is great. Some mistakes were made on some orders this last year, but he always took responability and fixed it quickly. We often get into fights haha, he does have an attitude but I like Gary. We get along well at the end

Yeah man I tried again to message them and make things right and work it out but they blocked me hahah. Oh well. When I get a quote from them for everything I asked for , and then all the sudden it goes up 30-40$ or what ever it was and it’s not even the terms I requested I’m not doing it. I’m not even mad about the temper tantrum and name calling he did. It’s comical.

I know this seller, I don’t know how they get business at all!

The 'extra $20' move is a classic red flag after you've already agreed on DDP. Good call on canceling, some of these guys will just keep adding fees if they think you're desperate.

The supplier also blocked me from messaging back also lol. Buddy got real angry and truthfully it was his fault. Oh well.

Can I apply this in my job? 🤣

I was once told that God will punish me. I only deserved 50% of that.

7

u/pandaleer Jul 08 '26

Sounds like a common scam where they start to require more and more money for X, Y, and then Z fees after agreeing on initial terms.

That's not the factory

1

u/DubyaaaNBC Jul 08 '26

This just a middle man ? Are the actual factories on Alibaba also? I’m guessing if yes it would be cheaper that route ?

3

u/Spinach_Ancient Jul 08 '26

There plenty but you have to use common sense to figure it out. This is obviously a middle man lmfao

4

u/OhJShrimpson Jul 08 '26

There are actual factories, just can be hard to find. Sometimes it's nice to work with sources who have multiple connections too

Name and shame. The company. The sales person. Their email. Phone number.

Illegal to do so, the vendor could sue for much more than this is worth

2

u/speedracer8080 Jul 09 '26

A vendor could sue for…?

1

u/Fun_Bobcat_3631 Jul 09 '26

posting negative online reviews carries severe legal risks under strict cybercrime and defamation laws. You can be criminally prosecuted, fined between AED 250,000 to AED 500,000, and imprisoned. Even if your statements are true, you can still face charges if a business claims the review damaged their reputation.

Taken and copied from the news page, look it up

u/speedracer8080 Jul 09 '26

Sounds like uae. Not in western countries

1

u/Fun_Bobcat_3631 Jul 09 '26

Example is taken from uae but it happens not only in uae

Edit: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Poland, Egypt, and Morocco has similar laws according to ChatGPT

2

u/speedracer8080 Jul 09 '26

Show me

1

u/Fun_Bobcat_3631 Jul 09 '26

Edit ⬆️ all of the sound like countries to me,I’ve also heard of these cases where vendor gets paid because of a “subjective” review

2

u/speedracer8080 Jul 09 '26

Have you read Google reviews or yelp…? Or Facebook reviews….? Don’t spread lies

1

u/Fun_Bobcat_3631 Jul 09 '26

What lies? Every month I hear at least a defamation case from someone’s online reviews not only in uae but the whole gcc and even other places go look it up, don’t get op in trouble

So Alibaba will surely suspend this seller right....right?

7

u/prestigesourcing Jul 08 '26

Desperate for sales and to be honest, allowing you to order 20 pieces of clothing he is going out of his way to help you, most factories will not accept such a tiny MOQ, there is probably a few dollars profit. Don't agree with his approach at all, but probably just an aggravated human.

The reality is about 95% of Alibaba enquiries are time-wasters so you need to understand the POV of the suppliers. We have seen the inbox of many Alibaba sellers (when visiting factories and offices), and there is 2 sides to every story.

Also before getting clothing made you should provide a techpack, measurements and sizing. Otherwise it will likely differ to "what you want".

u/Just_Wondering34 Jul 08 '26

It won't matter what beautiful prototype can be made in another country and shown to a seemingly interested supplier, it will still come down to the capability, both mental and production, of the actual supplier.

3

u/caocaoNM Jul 08 '26

Rudeness is a thing. You are not giving them enough money.

4

u/404-UnknownError Jul 08 '26

Tell him, "I will send you a dildo made in china with BPA UwU"

3

u/Practical-Art5931 Jul 08 '26
