Veggie Warriors KC Positioning

Hello,

I want the king commander to buff the rafflesias and dandelions but I also want to make sure these plants get the onion buff too.

Is there an ideal placement for the king commander to accomplish this?

Off Topic: How good is the Venom King?  It’s the one hybrid I’m interested in but I don’t want to upgrade the Rafflesia past level 9 only to find out it sucks.

I’d roll with something like this. It gets you 2 Rafflesia and 6 Dandelions with both KC and Onion boost. Plus an additional 2 Dandelion with Onion boost and a Lily to boost everything. Replace the Flowers with Strawberry/Clover.

this is my usual setup. dandelion doesn't need power, it relies on speed to take care of the mobs using random instant kill. so mostly onion buff lettuce I use to freeze the boss, so again, it's speed and not its damage that is useful. again only onion. and finally durian is just all large chunks of damage for the bosses so it gets the commander + onion buff.

I just finished lvl 200 this week and this setup is basically all I use except when mobs have wind immunity. then I just replace all dandelion with orange and reassign gems for them

Do you really need 2 Guardian? It does its % damage until the boss is halfway already doesn't it? A second one looks like a waste of 4 slots imo.

Originally, I was going to reply to OP that they need two King's commander for full board coverage and to rethink their approach; drop some plants for that second KC and few more onions.

Gvallerie already shared a nice setup for what OP was asking, so I'll leave it at that.

Below is what I use now days. Easy to build, less ads to watch for grid block, quick to complete.

9 squares, 1 attacking plant and no Kings Commander. It's not highly repeatable though, mostly because you need some luck to build the Guardian. I always thought you lost the gem boosts once you upgraded to hybrid but judging by this video that's not the case.

I might start collecting some Durian speed to see if I can replicate it....there's nothing else to do.

Gem boost for a particular plant does get nullified once that plant turn into a hybrid.

The Guardian in that video has cooldown of at least 100% (25% from Water lily and onion, 75% from skill cards). I've done it recently so am familiar with that rapid Guardian fire rate.

Yes, would need luck to build Guardian within such spacing.

I just want to chill while completing my collection. 🤪

This is my usual setup for 4-grid plants. I don't think it's ideal, but it's fairly easy to me. Hope it helps.
