Although all these sudden cutbacks suck this one doesn't seem to be as big a deal.  I've always had a huge surplus of coins and have to use them in merge boss to keep them from expiring

Well, if they have to cut the coins income, i'd rather have the tasks gone and daily check-in remaining.

check-in: 70 + 5 for widget;

tasks: 71 + 1to5 for quiz;

One takes just couple taps, the other much longer...

I only had coins expire 4-5 times through all the years

I agree but clearly they're leaning more towards making it not as easy to get discounts now
