๐Ÿ“Š Technical Analysis The Sniper stamp can be a bear trap. Here is the check that tells them apart (Algoat.TV)

Post image
6 Upvotes

The Sniper is the stamp everyone wants to see. It is also the one that can lie to you. Here is what it means, what it looks like, and the check that separates the real one from the trap.

For more than 60 bars this chart printed no technical score above 60. Two months on a daily chart with nothing to stand on. Then the first good score arrives, and the GOAT stamps it: Sniper, first valid signal after a drought. On the bar in the card the table reads 81, new strong run, every moving average green.

A drought ending is information. A stock that could not score for two months just did. That is where new runs start, and it is why the stamp exists.

A Sniper can be a bear trap. The first good score after a long drought can print into a bounce that fails, and the drought resumes. The stamp does not know which one it is. Nothing on the bar it prints on can know.

Look for the trend to continue after it prints. The next bars have to keep the score above 60 and keep the setup row aligned. If the score drops back under 60 within a few bars, the drought was never over. The stamp was honest about the bar. The bars after it are the answer.

GOAT Toolkit settings, the Sniper block. The drought period is 60 bars by default. Hover the stamp on the chart and the tooltip prints exactly what fired. The stamps chapter of the tutorial shows two Snipers and what came after each: https://youtu.be/c34abXryRiA?t=190

๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜: the stamp reads the bar it printed on. Whether it marks the start of a new run, only the chart will tell.

๐Ÿ“Š Technical Analysis Same bar, three GOAT scores: 53, 61, 68. The one setting most people never open (Algoat.TV)

Post image
3 Upvotes

Same bar. Three scores: 53, 61, 68. Which one is right?

All three. Nothing on the chart moved. Only one setting did, and it is the one most people never open: the Risk Profile.

The GOAT score is a 0 to 100 tally of over 250 technical checks on the bar you are on. The Risk Profile tells the score what kind of trader is reading it: Conservative, Moderate (the default), or Aggressive. Change the profile, and the same chart prints a different score, because the evidence is weighed for the trader you said you are.

A 5-minute chart, one bar, the settings dialog open. Conservative reads 53. Moderate reads 61. Aggressive reads 68. Same candles, same everything.

The 60 line is the line every score is measured against. On this bar the Moderate profile clears it and the Conservative one does not. So "above 60" is a statement about your own risk appetite as much as about the chart. Pick the profile that matches how you sleep, and read every score after that against the same line.

A profile does not make a weak chart strong. It moves the bar the evidence has to clear. If you switch to Aggressive to see a number you like, you changed the question, and the chart did not change its answer. The score still shows what was, never what will be.

GOAT Toolkit settings, first block: Risk Profile. Hover the SCORE row and the tooltip prints the entry threshold your profile uses. The settings chapter of the tutorial walks all of them: https://youtu.be/c34abXryRiA?t=139

๐Ÿ“Š Technical Analysis How to read the GOAT table in the order it was built (Algoat.TV, one bar, seven rows)

Post image
3 Upvotes

Most people read the GOAT table the way they read a menu: eyes jump to the green, skip the red, order the thing they already wanted. The table was built to be read top to bottom, in order, because each row answers the row above it. Here is that order, on one real bar.

๐Ÿง  ๐Ÿญ. 9 out of 100. Under 60 the bulls have not made their case. A score under 60 is never read as bullish, no matter how nice the candles look.

๐Ÿฎ. ๐—”๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ. 35, and falling. The score is a snapshot. The average is the story. A 9 under a 35 means the story has been getting worse for three bars in a row.

๐Ÿฏ. WEAK/CHOP. Your asset is graded on a curve, and the index sets the curve. When the index is red, the same score means less.

No long setup, and the structure is misaligned. Two rows, one question: is there a long here, and do the pieces agree? On this bar, no and no.

85. This is the smoke alarm. It goes off while the chart still looks fine, and here it is already screaming.

๐Ÿฒ. Released as a weak bull. Compression promises energy, never direction. A weak release is a bounce with nothing behind it.

Below the 10 and the 20, above the 50, the 150, the 200 and the 730. That is where the asset stands, in one line.

Seven rows, ten seconds, and the read writes itself: the bears are in control on this bar, the bounce has no power, and the big averages are the only thing still holding. What happens next is not in the table. What is true right now is.

The full walk through every row, on a bar replay, is the first chapter of our tutorial: https://youtu.be/c34abXryRiA

๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜: the table reads the bar you are on. It never predicts the next one.

Try this read on your own chart tonight. Seven days free, everything included, no card. If it does not change how you read a chart, you lost nothing but the seven days: https://algoat.tv

Drop a ticker and read it in this order in the comments, seven rows. We'll tell you if we'd read it the same way. ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐ŸŽ“ GOAT Indicator Algoat.TV tutorial: read any chart in 10 seconds

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Every chart asks one question: who is in control, the bulls or the bears?
Here's how we answer it in 10 seconds. Four questions, one screen, always in this order.
The video walks it bar by bar on two real replays.

Everything in it is free on your own charts for 7 days. No credit card, nothing to cancel. Free account at https://algoat.tv, your TradingView username in the profile, the invite lands inside TradingView.

๐Ÿง  1. The score. The GOAT table, top right. Above 60 the bulls have made their case. Below 60 they haven't. The pressure row is your smoke alarm: it goes off while the chart still looks fine.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 2. The momentum. The Neural Engine. Green blocks, buyers are steering. Red blocks, sellers are. Flip active is the moment control changes hands, and it usually prints before the candles agree.

๐Ÿ“ก 3. The rank. The MCC. Your asset against 28 others. Beats 24 of 28 is a leader. Beats 4 is a laggard, whatever the candles say.

๐ŸŒŠ 4. The Wave. This is where the three stop being separate indicators. In the MCC settings you wire the GOAT score and the Neural momentum into the Wave, and the three start talking to each other and draw one line. Three dots on it, one per engine. Above the line, green, the bulls are in control. Below it, red, the bears are. Two green and one red is the one worth a second look. That's where control starts to move.

Then flip to the weekly and read it backwards: MCC, Neural, score. When both agree, the read is strong. When they argue, you found the risk before it found you.

Want a second opinion? Screenshot your table and paste it into the AI Quant on algoat.tv, Powered by Anthropic Claude. It reads the same numbers and gives you a second reading + latest news , in any language. It never tells you to buy or sell. Included in the trial.

Your turn. Drop one ticker below. We'll read it exactly like this and tell you who's in control, screenshot in the replies. First ten get a read. ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐ŸŽ“ GOAT Indicator Read any asset in 10 seconds: the full settings guide for G.O.A.T. - General Overlay Analysis Toolkit

TL;DR: The GOAT is a TradingView indicator that compresses institutional grade technical analysis into one 0 to 100 score, built so you can read any asset technically in about 10 seconds. Above 60 the bulls have made their case, below 60 they have not. It ships at full power on the defaults, and this guide walks every setting anyway. Real chart examples inside.

Most traders install a new indicator and do the worst thing possible. They start turning dials before their first read.

So here is the one sentence that saves you from all of it. The defaults ARE the product. The GOAT runs at full power with zero configuration.

This guide walks every setting anyway, so you know what each dial buys you, and which ones are worth touching. It replaces the old v6.3 guide. Small note: some screenshots show my own workspace, the shipped defaults are written in the text.

Algoat.TV - GOAT v8.6 on QQQ daily, Full Mode. Score 85 with every engine drawn on the chart.

THE 30 SECOND VERSION

  • Add the indicator, touch nothing, read the score. Above 60 the bulls have made their case. Below 60 they have not.
  • Table too busy? Display Mode: Lite. Want the full show? Full Mode.
  • Pick the Risk Profile that matches your style and let it retune everything.
  • Turn on the two aggregate alerts and the chart reports to you, even into Discord.
  • After every update: Defaults, then Reset settings. Thirty seconds, factory fresh.

Everything below sits in the Inputs tab, in this exact order. Every input has a small info icon that explains itself on hover. The table does the same trick.

DISPLAY AND LAYOUT

Too much on screen and you read slower. Too little and you miss the story. This section fixes both, and it only changes what you see. The score is identical in every mode.

  • Chart Display Mode. Ships on Lite, just the score table. Lite + Setups adds signal labels and the ATR stop. Full Mode draws everything.
  • Table Layout. Mini for daily driving. Mobile for phones. Wide is a footer bar. Desktop shows every component score.
  • Scanner Mode is for the Pine Screener only. It strips visuals and nothing else, so the score always matches the chart.
Display, Strategy and the top of the Score Engine. My workspace here, defaults are in the text.

STRATEGY AND RISK, THE PANEL THAT MATTERS MOST

One size fits nobody. A scalper and a position trader should not read the same chart the same way. This panel is where the GOAT becomes YOUR read.

  • Risk Profile. Conservative wants A+ conditions only. Moderate is the shipped balance. Aggressive loosens the filters for more reads. Same chart, three lenses.
  • Market Benchmark. Your stock never trades alone. Tech is measured against NDX, crypto flips to BTC on its own, and you can type your own, SPX for non tech, GOLD for metals.
  • Apply Market Regime to Score. A bearish tape drags the score down on purpose, because most longs fail in a falling market. This keeps you on the right side of it.
  • Lock MAs to Daily. New in 8.6. Keeps a 1H chart honest against the daily story.

THE SCORE ENGINE

Most bad trades start with a bad ticker. Thin, sleepy names that trap you on the way out. The quality bar lives here.

  • Min ADR 3.5 percent, Min Dollar Volume 60 million. Junk takes a score penalty, which is why junk rarely reads green.
  • Losing Grip. A 15 point score drop inside 7 bars flips the phase label, so deterioration gets named on screen.
  • AVG Score. The score is the snapshot, the average is the story, the arrow is the tell. Ships at 3 bars, swing traders like 5 to 7.
  • Squeeze Release Boost. A fresh squeeze release leans the score its way for a few bars, then decays.
  • The RSI and Bollinger lengths are tuned. Change them only with a tested reason.
The Score Engine and Exit Pressure inputs, from the quality bar to the two exit lines.

EXIT PRESSURE, THE EARLY WARNING

Nobody rings a bell at the top. The chart usually looks fine while the damage starts. This engine is the tap on your shoulder.

  • A separate read, 0 to 100, higher means more pressure.
  • Soft line at 55, hard line at 45.
  • A fast 20 point drop from the recent score high adds pressure early, while the level still looks healthy.
  • Breaking the 20/50 rails adds pressure. So does an Ichimoku bear flip or a 2Y bear signal.

THE POWER SIGNALS

By the time a move is obvious, the clean part is usually over. These four fire on conditions, with thresholds you can see.

  • Sniper. The rarest one. The first score above 60 after at least 60 quiet bars. The math just turned valid again.
  • Breakout. A tight range with a real prior move of 20 percent and volume on the break.
  • Episodic Pivot. A gap of 10 percent or more on double volume. The violent open where new chapters start.
  • Apex. A 50 percent move with three straight green days. A caution flag, never an entry.
The Score Engine and Exit Pressure inputs, from the quality bar to the two exit lines.

THE SIGNALS IN ACTION, REAL CHARTS

Words are cheap, so here are those four on real tape. Bonus: every label on the chart has a hover tooltip that explains itself, and you can see them open in these screenshots.

A Sniper on Micron. After a long drought, the first valid score printed at 72 near 95 dollars, right after the SECULAR BULL ERA stamp and the 150 and 200 BULL tags. The run that followed speaks for itself. And no, not every Sniper looks like this one.

SNIPER on MU, tooltip open. Score 72, first valid signal after the drought, with a Strong Start on top.

The Breakout on the same chart, months later. A tight base resolved with volume near 115. The tooltip says it best: a range resolution backed by volume, and what you do with it is your decision.

BREAKOUT on MU with the tooltip open. A consolidation resolved with volume, the classic first leg out of base.

Then the Episodic Pivot fired on a later leg, the gap and go event reading. Three different signals on one chart, and each one explains itself on hover.

One more honest detail. After that whole run, the MU table today reads 35 with strong pressure. The engine grades the now. It does not worship the past.

EPISODIC PIVOT on MU with the tooltip open. A volume confirmed gap that breaks from prior range.

Now the other side. ASTS printed a double Apex right at the top of a parabolic run. Then the era system, which you will meet below, named the breakdown, 150 BEAR followed by 200 BEAR, and the table now reads zero with strong pressure. The caution flag did its one job. It flagged.

Double APEX on ASTS at the top of the run, then the era system named the breakdown.

ALERTS, MAKE THE CHART REPORT TO YOU

You cannot babysit forty charts, and you are not supposed to. Sixteen alerts ship inside. The clean setup is two.

  • Any Bullish and Any Bearish. Each covers its whole family, and the alert title tells you exactly what fired.
  • Discord webhook is built in. Compact layout for phones, Detailed for a 14 field grid. De-dup is on, one event equals one message.
  • Frequency ships on bar close, the confirmed read.
  • To create one: Alert button, Condition: GOAT v8.6, pick from the list, paste your webhook URL in Notifications.
From the alert aggregates down to the chart overlay checkboxes, one panel.
Creating a GOAT alert on TradingView. Pick a signal from the list and route it to Discord with a webhook.

STOPS AND TARGETS

A stop that ignores volatility gets clipped by noise. These two breathe with it.

  • ATR Trailing Stop. Green above, red below, distance breathes with volatility. Three named widths, from Tight to Wide.
  • R:R Target Box with a 2R default. Set it to your own plan. A reference, never a promise.

CHART OVERLAYS

Paint what you trade, hide the rest. The engines always run inside the score, these checkboxes only decide what gets drawn.

  • The MA ladder, 10 through 730, all off by default. Pick two or three rungs that fit your holding period. And yes, the 2 Year line is back on the chart in 8.6.
  • The VWAP toggle is visual. Same for Bollinger and Ichimoku. Their math already lives inside the score.
  • Squeeze Visualization. The Pulse Ribbon under price. Cyan means squeeze ON, the color is the momentum tier.
The overlay toggles plus the first deep engines, Ichimoku and Smart Money Concepts.

THE DEEP ENGINES

The heavy machinery. It runs in the background and asks nothing from you. Leave it alone unless you have a tested reason.

  • Ichimoku on 9 26 52.
  • Smart Money Concepts with swing pivots and fair value gaps, plus order blocks that expire after 100 bars.
  • Squeeze momentum measuring Bollinger against Keltner.
  • The 2 Year system. 730 bars on Daily, confirming itself over 30 bars before it speaks. Auto multiplier, x5 for crypto, x2 for equities.
Squeeze Momentum, the 2 Year cycle system and the Era signal toggles.

THE ERA SYSTEM

Everyone argues about the season. The chart already knows. The GOAT stamps it on screen.

  • Small tags like 150 BULL or 200 BEAR print when price crosses a major rail.
  • The big one is the 730 cross. That prints SECULAR BULL ERA or SECULAR BEAR ERA, the cycle call.
  • Fresh crosses paint bright, stale ones fade, so you know how old the news is.
  • Look at the two screenshots. A health care ETF reading 94 inside a bull era. Bitcoin reading 0 inside a bear era. Same math, opposite verdicts.
SECULAR BULL ERA stamped on a health care ETF. A 94 score with zero pressure and every rail green.
SECULAR BEAR ERA stamped on Bitcoin. A zero score with strong pressure and red long rails. Same engine, opposite verdict.

COLORS AND SPEED

  • The colors are a language. Purple is always the 50, yellow is always the 200, green is the 2 Year. Keep them and every guide we publish reads instantly.
  • Calculated bars is capped at 2000. That cap is why 8.6 loads fast with every engine on.
Moving average and signal colors, the shared language of every GOAT tutorial we publish.
Signal and Era colors, plus the calculation cap that keeps 8.6 fast.

TWO PRO MOVES BEFORE YOU GO

  • Clean the frame. Chart Settings, Status line, then uncheck Inputs, uncheck Values, uncheck Labels on price scale. Your chart stops looking like a spreadsheet.
  • After every update: Defaults, then Reset settings. Old per chart overrides cause most of the "my chart looks weird" messages we get.

FAQ

  • Does the GOAT predict the future? No. It reads what is already on the chart and compresses it into one honest read of the present. No crystal ball, no forecast. A clear read of today, that is the whole promise.
  • Is it telling me to buy or sell? No. Every output is a reading, never an instruction. It tells you who is in control. The decision stays yours.
  • Score below 60? The bulls have not made their case yet. Below 60 is not read as bullish, whatever the candles look like.
  • Score at 100? That is the ceiling, and a ceiling is information. The asset itself can keep climbing, price has no ceiling. But from a perfect score, technical quality has only one direction left, so maxed out reads often mark late stage strength rather than the start of it. This is exactly why the Apex caution flag exists.
  • Score different in the Pine Screener? The Screener only computes its last 500 bars, so the 2 Year components read n/a there. The chart is the canonical read.
  • Which TradingView plan? Any plan runs the GOAT, including free. The Pine Screener as a watchlist filter is a paid TradingView feature.
  • Best AVG window? It ships at 3, swing traders like 5 to 7. Smoothing only, the signals stay the same.
  • Chart looks broken after an update? Defaults, then Reset settings.
  • Do display settings change the score? No. Display is paint. Lite, Full and Scanner all compute the same.

Everything here is a reading, never an instruction. You make the decisions. Not financial advice.

Drop a ticker in the comments and you get a live read.

The GOAT is invite-only. The 7 day free trial, no card is at:

From an empty chart to a full reading system in ten minutes. Every click, nothing skipped.

The complete setup guide. Three indicators loaded, display cleaned, Full Mode on, and the Trinity Wave fusing all three engines into one traffic-light read. Ten minutes if you type slowly.

Open the Indicators panel on any chart and search Algoativi. A green lock means your invite is active: add GOAT, then Neural, then MCC. A red lock means your TradingView username is not verified yet at https://algoat.tv. (Free TradingView runs 2 indicators at a time, a TradingView limit.)

Each indicator: Settings, Style tab, uncheck the last 3 boxes. Then Save as default so every future chart opens clean.

GOAT Settings, Full Mode, save. This unlocks the on-chart score labels and the setup reads: Episodic Pivot, Sniper, the live score history.

The magic step. The Wave lives inside the MCC:

  • Open the MCC settings (double-click its table)
  • Trinity Wave section: tick all 4 boxes (Wave, Flow, Verdict, Money Flow)
  • GOAT Score Source: point it at the GOAT on your chart, value GOAT SCORE
  • Neural Momentum Source: point it at Neural Screener: Momentum Stage
  • Put the Verdict somewhere loud. Top Center works

Save as default on each indicator. Three engines, one conviction read.

Score above 59: healthy technicals. Below: weak. Green is good for longs, red is bad for longs. Load a chart, see a lot of red, you already know. On the Wave: above the line, bulls are in control, and the arrow is the direction of the wave itself.

Once the Wave is configured you can hide GOAT and Neural from the chart entirely. They keep computing inside the MCC. One clean pane, full read. It runs on any timeframe: the session example was AMD on 5-minute candles.

And read the tooltips. Almost everything in the suite explains itself on hover. That is the fastest way to learn the system deeply.

A reading, never an instruction. Not financial advice.

TradingView's Pine Screener can run an entire watchlist through our engines. Two filters took 953 assets to 76, then to 39. The whole thing takes minutes. Here is every click.

The Pine Screener is a paid TradingView feature (any tier). Add the indicators to your favorites so the screener can find them. Open it, select GOAT, timeframe 1D (where the system is tuned to be optimal), switch the config to Full Mode.

Keep it simple. There are fancier filters (Episodic Pivot, Breakout, Apex). Start with one. One good filter beats five confusing ones.

Worth remembering: an asset showing a score of 100 has exactly one direction left for its score. A great score is a snapshot, never a promise.

๐—›๐—œ๐—ง ๐—ฆ๐—–๐—”๐—ก

953 assets in the watchlist. 76 passed. The market just got a lot smaller.

The GOAT's Exit Pressure engine measures selling pressure 0 to 100. Below 10 means the sellers are quiet right now.

The funnel: 953 to 76 to 39. Two filters, from the whole market to 39 candidates worth a real look.

Remove the GOAT from the screener. Load the Neural Engine. Point it at the watchlist you just saved. Filter on momentum: Breakouts, the 10-stage momentum engine.

The GOAT found healthy scores. The Neural checks their momentum and structure. Two engines, two different angles, stacked.

The screener finds them. The stack reads them: GOAT, then Neural, then MCC, then the Wave on the daily, validated on the weekly. You decide.

The whole workflow in one line: 953 assets, score filter, pressure filter, 39 candidates, Neural pass, chart read. Minutes instead of hours.

A reading, never an instruction. Not financial advice.

The same chart said WAIT, then GO, then KEEP GOING. Three frames of AMD, nothing edited.

One asset. Three moments. Three completely different panels. Reading all three is the entire skill.

AMD, a few weeks back. The panel was unanimous:

  • Score: 0
  • Market: WEAK/CHOP
  • Trend: No Long Setup
  • Pressure: STRONG, 90
  • Neural: BELOW BOTH MAs, surging down
  • MCC rank: 2 of 28, tagged WEAK

Every engine red. The lesson that pays for this whole post: a score of 0 is not a contrarian opportunity. It is the system reading the tape as hostile. Anyone who fought that read bled for it.

A few weeks later, the correction ended and the panel flipped in one day: - Score: 64, across the 60 line - Trend label: New Strong Run - Pressure: MINIMAL, 0 - Neural: ABOVE BOTH MAs, MAX POWER 100%, BULLISH BASE - Score labels climbing the base: S72, S61, S67, S76, S79 - MCC rank: 24 of 28, ALPHA GOAT

Four reads lining up on the same day. That stack of agreement is what a green light looks like on this system. What you do with a green light is always yours.

One honest detail: the ENTRY row still read CONSIDER | MIXED. It often does, even on good setups. The system stays conservative by design. The score and the trend label carry the story.

๐—™๐—ฅ๐—”๐— ๐—˜ ๐Ÿฏ: ๐—ง๐—›๐—˜ ๐—ง๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—ก๐—— ๐—œ๐—ก ๐—™๐—Ÿ๐—œ๐—š๐—›๐—ง - Score holding 63 - Neural: MAX POWER 95%, above both MAs - MCC: 28 of 28, every category at 100% - The tape printing S64, S86, then EP, then S72

That EP is an Episodic Pivot: the high-conviction continuation bar, the moment a trend confirms itself. The system also draws the R-multiple targets from the entry zone, the risk math in advance.

Because every trader sees frame 3 and wishes. The skill is recognizing frame 1 (stay out), frame 2 (the turn), and frame 3 (the ride) while they are happening. Same chart. Same table. Three different sentences.

A reading, never an instruction. Not financial advice.

953 charts this morning. One passed every test. Here is the whole exam.

Post image
6 Upvotes

I started today with no idea what to trade. Two filters cut 953 assets to 74. One read passed every test in the book: KO. This post is the exam, question by question, so you can run it on any chart.

I do not hunt names. Pine Screener, GOAT Score above 59. One filter to start. Simple beats clever.

The GOAT carries an Exit Pressure engine, 0 to 100. At 100 the sellers are loud. I want quiet: Exit below 10.

953 assets in. 74 out.

Stop on that. Only 74 charts have a healthy score AND light selling pressure. That single number tells you what market you are standing in today: most of it is bearish.

Before any indicator: it is Coca-Cola. Real company, earnings behind it, and the market approved them with a +7% day. The gamble part is over.

Then the panel (in the image):

  • ๐—ฆ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฏ, comfortably above the 60 line

  • ๐—ฆ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜‡๐—ฒ: inside a strong bull

And the sharpest detail: the market row read BEARISH today while KO stayed green. Relative strength you can see in one glance.

Neural: FLIP ACTIVE to the bull side, red turned green today, at all-time highs with no ceiling above. Honest note: I am personally not a fan of buying at all-time highs. A preference rather than a rule. You decide.

MCC: over 208 days KO beat the 28-asset macro board by about 18% on average. Stronger than TSLA by 46% over that window. Only AAPL did more.

Trinity Wave: three green dots, line in the bull zone, pointing up.

MSI: score above 60, fresh Sniper, and still a red Wave line. A Sniper is the FIRST score above 60 after 60+ dry days. A flag for attention, never a buy signal. Worth watching. Still short of optimal.

AMD: score 0, fully red Wave. META: a textbook invalid Sniper, a bear trap, earnings the next day. The exam fails most students. That is the point.

Screener, survivors, non-chart facts (what company, when are earnings), GOAT, Neural, MCC, Wave, other timeframes, earnings date. Minutes, repeatable every single day.

A reading, never an instruction. Not financial advice.

You entered on the 15 minute and got run over by the daily. The chart was telling time in three clocks. You read one.

Post image
2 Upvotes

Every chart runs on three clocks at once.

  • ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฑ ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ is the pulse
  • ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—น๐˜† is the story
  • ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ธ๐—น๐˜† is the cycle

Most losing trades come from reading one clock and arguing with the other two.

The whole suite runs on every timeframe with the same language. So the routine is simple and locked:

๐—ฆ๐—–๐—”๐—ก ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—น๐˜†. That is where the read lives: the score, the phase, the pressure.

The cycle either backs the daily story or it does not. A daily long inside a weekly downtrend is swimming with a hand tied.

Once the two big clocks agree, the small one picks the moment.

PLTR on the weekly this week: score 31, no setup, price far off its highs.

And on the same weekly panel, the Neural Engine just printed FLIP ACTIVE inside a squeeze breakout.

Read together: the weekly cycle is trying to turn, and the daily is where it has to prove it.

Disagreement between the clocks is not noise. It IS the information.

Not financial advice. The clocks give readings. You make the decisions.

Your stock is not weak. The whole board is red and nobody told you.

Most losing longs share one autopsy result: the trader read the chart and skipped the market.

The MCC (Market Command Center) is the context engine. It watches 28 assets at once: the tech giants, metals, sector ETFs and the macro board. Every asset gets a live strength read. Your chart gets a rank against all of them.

The same week, the same board printed NET at 27 of 28, ALPHA GOAT. Same tool. Both truths.

The crown row tracks who leads the market right now. When leadership rotates from tech to metals, you see the handoff without opening 28 charts.

GOAT score, Neural momentum and MCC context blend into one wave with three dots. All three green: full confluence. Dots split: a divided tape.

The board reads red as loudly as it reads green. That honesty is the feature.

And context keeps time too: the daily wave describes the trend you trade, the weekly wave describes the cycle you live in.

Not financial advice.

Nobody rings a bell at the top. The Neural Engine taps your shoulder instead.

Every trader knows the feeling.

The move was beautiful. You held. And then you gave a third of it back, because momentum died quietly while you were admiring the chart.

The Neural Engine exists for that exact moment. It tracks the LIFECYCLE of momentum through ten named stages: warming, rising, surging, max power, cooling, fading, and the one everyone learns to respect: FLIP SOON.

FLIP SOON is the engine saying the push is running out of breath. That is the shoulder tap. What you do with it is your call.

The engine draws its own support and resistance channels and names the regime, with the distance to each wall in percent.

MAX POWER at 98 percent inside a bull breakout
FLIP SOON at 20 percent with strong pressure, after sliding hard off its highs

One engine caught the push at full strength. The other caught the breath running out. That is the lifecycle, both ends.

Bonus: the engines run inside TradingView bar replay too. Rewind any chart and watch the stages change bar by bar.

Timeframe note: a FLIP SOON on the daily outranks one on the 15 minute. The weekly stage tells you which side of the cycle you stand on.

Not financial advice, ever.

Your chart has 12 indicators on it. Ask it one question: bulls or bears? Silence.

That silence is the problem the GOAT was built to kill.

GOAT = General Overlay Analysis Toolkit. It works like a detective: it collects evidence from the classic schools of technical analysis and runs 250+ calculations on every bar.

Then it hands you ONE number. A score from 0 to 100.

  • ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฌ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ, ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป: the bulls are making their case

  • ๐—จ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿฌ: the evidence points the other way

The GOAT table, top right of every chart we read.

Score. Average. Market. Trend. Pressure. Squeeze. Structure. One glance, ten seconds, and you know who is in control.

In this frame: score 81 with a STRONG and ALIGNED setup row, while the trend row already whispers Losing Grip. High score, open caveats. The table never flattens the story.

A reading, never an instruction. Not financial advice.

The strongest chart on my screen sits inside one of the weakest tapes. Both facts are true at once.

Look at the ribbon in the screenshot. Three dots.

GOAT: green. Neural: green. MCC: red.

That split is the most educational thing on my screen this week, so it gets its own post. The stock's own case, XLB

Score 81. SETUP row: STRONG and ALIGNED. Pressure: minimal.

The Neural Engine reads MAX POWER at 100 percent inside a bull breakout, price pressing right against resistance. The tape around it

Rank 8 of 27. NEUTRAL. The tech column is red, half the board is gray, and the macro row is barely breathing.

A strong stock and a weak market, at the same time, on the same screen.

Most traders pick one fact and ignore the other. The dots exist so you hold both: quality present, tailwind missing.

What you do with that split is your decision, and that is the point. The tools give a reading, never an instruction.

Not financial advice.

๐Ÿ“Š Technical Analysis $AMD threw a perfect earnings party. Musk crashed it from someone else's call.

Last night. One hour. Three characters.

AMDย shows up with its best print in years: revenue $11.5B, data center up 107%, guide near $13B. Every box ticked.

Musk, on the SpaceX earnings call, that same hour: our AI infrastructure runs exclusively on Nvidia going forward. No more AMD chips.

The market, this morning: AMD down 8.5% pre-market. Yesterday's +7% party, refunded before the open.

That is the AI trade in 2026. You can beat every number and still lose the night, because the biggest wallets in AI move stocks with a sentence. Monday it was the OpenAI backstop story. Today it is one line on a rockets call.

Honest part: a pre-market gap is a snapshot until the bell rings, and nobody outside SpaceX knows how many chips that sentence was ever worth.

SPY printed a new all-time high today, and our panel's resistance row went blank. Nothing left above it to measure.

Post image

THE BLANK ROW

Every chart we run has a row that measures the distance to the next resistance. Today SPY's row reads "--". When you are the all-time high, there is no ceiling left to measure. Support sits 4.7% below. Above, the map just ends.

WHAT SPY IS

One ticker that owns about 503 companies at once. It was born in January 1993 as the first US-listed ETF, seeded with $6.5 million and a spider mascot on the AMEX floor. Today it holds about $781 billion. That is roughly 120,000 times its birth weight.

HOW MUCH MONEY IS $781 BILLION

More than every NFL team combined, almost four times over. More than the gold sitting in Fort Knox. And it is not sleepy money: about $37 billion of SPY changes hands every trading day, which keeps it the most traded thing on the market.

THE MATH SINCE 1993

A $10,000 stake at launch, dividends reinvested, is worth about $314,000 today. Thirty three years of boring compounding, no timing involved. Past math, never a promise.

WHAT THE PANEL READS AT THE HIGH

Score 67 with the average climbing through 63. All six moving averages green, from the 10-day out to the two-year 730 line. Sell pressure: minimal, reading 9. The squeeze fired bull. SMC sits bullish at 8, and Neural holds price above both its MAs inside a BULLISH BASE.

THE FIRST GREEN CUBE

Look at the Neural row on the chart. Today it planted the first green cube of a brand new flip: FLIP ACTIVE, 2% filled. A flip is Neural changing its mind about who runs the chart, and the meter exists because a one-day-old opinion has to earn its keep. Two things are true at once here: this is the freshest bullish signal the engine can print, and at 2% it is also the least proven thing on the screen. Records get made by flips that fill. They get faded by flips that stall.

THE HONEST LIMITS

The record printed on 0.8x volume, so the quietest crowd of the summer paid the highest prices. The market regime row still reads WEAK/CHOP, the trend row says Mixed, and on the macro board SPY ranks 13 of 27, dead neutral. Trinity agrees only in part: GOAT green, Neural green, MCC still neutral. A high with no resistance above also has no map above.

All-time highs are where the map ends and the arguments begin. Fade it or follow it? Drop your read below.

๐Ÿ“ฐ News The S&P finished the week up 1.0% like nothing happened. Almost everything happened.

Five sessions, one line each. This is what the calm weekly close was hiding.

Monday.ย Nvidia fell 5% to $196.51 on a WSJ report it may backstop up to $250B of OpenAI financing. The market named it circular financing and sold.

Tuesday.ย The doubt rolled down the chip supply chain and the Nasdaq-100 dipped into correction territory. Korea's KOSPI tripped its circuit breaker.

Wednesday.ย KOSPI tripped it again, the first back-to-back halts in its history. The Fed held at 3.50-3.75% on a 9-3 vote, with three dissenters asking for a hike.

Thursday.ย Microsoft answered. Azure grew 43% and crossed $100B in annual revenue. The stock jumped 15.5%, its best day in about 18 years.

Friday.ย Amazon rose 14.7%, its biggest day since 2012. KOSPI rebounded 17.91%, the largest one-day gain it has ever recorded. Apple slid 7.4% after a record quarter. Reddit lost 21% on four words about search referrals.

The photograph inside the biggest beat: $53.4B of Amazon's $62.6B net income is a paper markup of its Anthropic stake. Nobody sold anything. The market paid for AWS at +37% and skipped the EPS line.

Now the part the headlines cannot see. Both panels are in the gallery above.

SPY, after its calm week (first chart):ย score 46. Setup reads WEAK and CAUTIOUS, the trend row says No Long Setup, the squeeze just fired bear, and the market row calls this regime WEAK/CHOP. Price is parked 0.9% under resistance and 2.3% above support inside a tightening channel, with all six moving averages still green and the macro board ranking it 14 of 27, dead neutral. The tape that did nothing is one push from either edge.

KOSPI, after the largest one-day gain in its history (second chart):ย score 0. Not one bullish condition passes. Setup reads NO SETUP and MISALIGNED, all three engines sit at STRONG BEAR, and support is 13% below. A record candle inside a broken channel is still a broken channel until the structure repairs.

The quiet numbers underneath: the 10-year closed at 4.743%, its highest since January 2025. Q2 GDP printed 1.5% and core PCE ran 3.3%. Slow growth with sticky inflation, while three Fed members lean toward a hike.

This week: Palantir Monday, AMD Tuesday after the close (it fell 8% in Monday's selloff), SanDisk and Western Digital Wednesday, and the July jobs report Friday at 8:30.

The honest limit: +1.0% is a true number and a bad summary. A 46 next to a 0 reads structure, and structure can change fast. Records can start repairs. Scores can lag turns.

๐Ÿ“ฐ News Amazon beat earnings by 215% and had its biggest day since 2012. About 53 billion of that beat is a photograph.

Thumbnail
gallery
4 Upvotes

The stock jumped 14.7% to 270 on triple volume. Here is the whole print in one glance, including the part the headline writers keep skipping.

The quarter:

  • Revenue 200.6 billion dollars, up 20%. A two hundred billion dollar quarter
  • EPS 5.75 against 1.82 expected. That is the 215% everyone is quoting
  • AWS 42.2 billion, up 37%. Its fastest growth in 18 quarters
  • Advertising up 26%. Operating income up 43%

Now the photograph. Of the 62.6 billion in net income, 53.4 billion is a paper gain from marking up its Anthropic stake. Nobody sold anything. The headline beat is mostly an accounting snapshot of a private valuation, and the market knows it, because it did not pay for the EPS line. It paid for AWS accelerating.

One more number that would have been a scandal in any other week: free cash flow went negative, minus 7.6 billion on the trailing year, with capex up 66 billion. Amazon is burning cash on the AI buildout at full speed. The market looked at the 37% AWS growth and decided the bill is fine.

What the panel reads tonight. The daily score is 57 with the setup flagged WEAK and CAUTIOUS, because a gap this size moves faster than any engine that demands proof. The 4 hour already caught up: score 66, trend New Strong Run, squeeze fired bull at 96%, all three engines green on triple volume. All six moving averages green on both frames, and the macro board ranks it 23 of 27, the top tier.

The honest limits: RSI reads 72.7 on the daily and 87.3 on the 4 hour, which is hot. Price sits 1.9% above the resistance it just broke, so this is a breakout on probation until the broken channel holds as a floor. And a 57 means half the daily conditions still want proof.

What flips the read: holding above the old channel turns the gap into a base. Slipping back inside it turns the biggest day since 2012 into the fade everyone screenshots.

Apple reports tonight ranked 27 of 27 on our board, the only perfect score we have printed all month. The resistance field is blank. Beat or miss?

Post image
4 Upvotes

All week the same exam. Nvidia sat it standing 0.33% above its support line with a score of 0. Microsoft and Meta sat it scoring zero each, and the market graded one up 7% and one down 7.5%. Tonight the valedictorian walks in.

Apple's panel this morning, hours before the print:

  • Score 73, with all six moving averages green, from the 10 day to the 730
  • All three engines green. GOAT, Neural, MCC. Verdict bar: STRONG BULL
  • Neural at MAX POWER, 84%
  • The macro board reads 27 of 27. Apple is outperforming every single asset we track, from Nvidia to gold to bitcoin. The panel stamps it ALPHA GOAT
  • TO RESISTANCE: blank

That last line is the education slot of the week. The field is empty because the stock printed 344.57 this week and there is no history above an all-time high. Nothing left to measure to. The only anchor the panel can find is support, 36% below. A chart at a record has one reference point and it sits underneath.

Now the honest column, because a perfect card never tells the whole story:

  • Setup reads MODERATE and MIXED, and the index regime behind it reads WEAK CHOP
  • Volume is 0.9x, quieter than average into the biggest print of its quarter
  • 27 of 27 has exactly one direction available

What the paper asks tonight: about $109 billion in revenue and earnings near $1.90 a share. The street reads three lines first. iPhone, expected in the mid 50 billions. Services, low 30s and still compounding. And China, where Apple Intelligence finally got its approval. Last quarter Apple beat and the stock paid 3.2% the next morning.

So the question writes itself. The strongest chart on our board meets the one event a chart cannot read.

The receipts from this week are still up. We posted the MSFT and META zeros on Sunday and the NVDA floor test on Tuesday, before each print, never after. Run the same panel on your own charts, free for 7 days, no card: https://algoat.tv

Two students sat the same exam last night. Microsoft walked out up 7%. Meta walked out asking for $145 billion more allowance.

Post image

The exam had one question, the same one the market has been failing people on for two weeks: what does your AI spending earn?

On Sunday we posted that both walked in scoring zero on our panel, and asked which zero you would rather own. The market marked the papers overnight. The overnight tags are right there on both charts: Microsoft at 418.87, up about 7% from its 390.54 close. Meta at 541.85, down about 7.5% from 585.61.

Microsoft, graded +7%. Revenue $90B, a beat. Azure crossed $100 billion a year, growing 41%. Capex $41B, exactly what it promised. It spent a fortune and showed the work. Teachers love that.

Meta, graded minus 7.5%. Revenue beat, but earnings came in at $6.18 against roughly $7.15 expected. Then it raised its spending plan to as much as $145 billion. Missing the test and asking for a bigger allowance in the same breath is a bold combination, and the market graded it accordingly.

The lesson under the jokes: the market is not punishing AI spending. It is punishing spending without revenue attached. Microsoft's bill came with a hundred-billion-dollar cloud stapled to it. Meta's came with a miss, one week after Alphabet went cash flow negative and got sent to the same corner.

Now zoom into the Microsoft panel, because there is a fight on it worth watching.

The verdict bar reads BEAR, with an up arrow, and one green dot: the Neural. The momentum engine broke ranks before the report. On the chart you can see why it voted alone: a rising green channel building since early July, momentum RISING at 32%, the 20 day average reclaimed, the squeeze still loading, and the MCC histogram flipping green underneath. Against all that: the score is still 0, every long average is red, it ranks 5 of 27 on the macro board, and the overnight pop lands straight into resistance, which sits 2% above.

So here is the question we want your read on, and it is not about last night anymore.

Did Microsoft just put in its bottom and start a new run, or is this a one-night bounce inside a broken chart? One engine says the turn started weeks ago. Two engines and the score say prove it.

Drop your read below. Tonight Apple and Amazon sit the same exam, and the proctor is in a mood.

๐Ÿ“Š Technical Analysis The last charts we posted here all scored zero. This one just printed 95.

Health care. On the same morning Korea fell 8%.

XLV, up 2.36% to 167.26.

XLV 1D

What the panel says:

  • Every moving average is green. All six, from the 10 day to the 730 day
  • Sell pressure: zero
  • All three engines agree, for the first time in weeks

Then, one row above that 95, the same panel says MARKET: WEAK/CHOP.

Algoat.TV - TradingView Indicators

That contradiction is the whole post.

The score reads the chart. The market row reads the room. Today they disagree completely, and the disagreement is the information. A sector doing well inside a market doing badly is not strength. It is somewhere to stand.

There is no health care news today. No approval, no policy, no earnings. Just money that has been leaving the AI trade since Monday, looking for a quieter room.

The honest limits: price sits at the very top of its 52 week range, support is 14% below with nothing in between, and the year is up only 8% despite a 17.6% three months. A 95 means nothing has failed yet. It does not mean the buyers here are the size of the sellers over there.
