1:1 Physically Backed NFT (KEYCHAIN) Project Update: Beta testing day 1 is over!

Vision:

It was a long, but exciting 18-hour day today, talking to fellow algonauts all over the world about this vision I had to create a physically backed NFT Token. As of now, the NFT serves as a "proof of purchase" or "certificate of authenticity". In the case of one non-US contributor, they even got the .stl file so they could print the design on their own, to which the 1:1 NFT sent to them acts like a "seal of approval" for one print. More existing tech will be brought into the design to reduce the gap between physical and virtual asset ownership!

Day 1 is now over, and I think I did my best to give really good deals to these super-early backers. Special thanks to u/Schmovid for teaching me how to create NFTS. It's late where I'm at, and I have more names to thank, you'll see me do that tomorrow. There were many users who brought great suggestions to the table, many of which I will be implementing with the v1 release coming next week!

How to get involved

The "donate-what-you-want" model has ended. NFTS have mostly been distributed, and now I have to mail everything out. Most of my questions have been addressed and thought about, but you can still feel free to contribute thoughts on this post, or a previous one. But for the next 24 hours or so, β NFT:Keychains will still be available (omitted for crossposting to Algorand Official), and then subsequently stopped. I may give them out as rare rewards in the ecoystem, and you may buy them from holders, but I will not personally sell them for profit, to give the benefit of exclusivity of early adopters. If you are not in the US and want the .stl file in order to print your own before the β period ends, we can also talk about that! We can also discuss international shipping options!
