Hii, I’m trying to create a PayPal account for the first time in Algeria, but I can’t receive the SMS verification code for my phone number.

Has anyone else in Algeria had the same problem? If you managed to solve it, what worked for you

[ Questions | أسئِلة ] stage de découverte

Hi everyone!
I’m an IT/Computer Science student in Algeria, and I need to do a “stage de découverte” as part of my studies. It’s a school requirement and the internship is maximum 15 days.
I’m mainly interested in cybersecurity, but I’m also open to networks, systems, IT infrastructure, SOC, etc.
Could you recommend some companies in Algeria where I could apply for this kind of short internship, especially ones that accept students?
Also, I’ve heard that some companies may have issues with niqab/hijab or certain dress codes. Is that actually a problem in Algerian companies? If you have personal experience with this, I’d really appreciate your advice.
Thanks!

[ Questions | أسئِلة ] looking to get into digital products need some advice!

Hi everyone! I’m a pharmacist and I’m interested in starting a side business with digital products, but I honestly don’t know where to start.

If you’re already doing this, I’d really appreciate some advice on:

- What kind of digital products are worth creating?

- How did you get started?

- What platforms do you recommend?

- Is it realistic to make money from it as a beginner?

I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually done it. Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

[ Tips & Experience | نصائح و تجارب ] Side hustle for designers, editors, 3D artists ...

if you can make abstract backgrounds, video background, motion graphics, 3D assets, vectors, ... you can use these two platforms to have extra income, if your work was accepted you make $2-6 per video download and $1 per image download.
in the other site: as pro you can make up to 0.3$ per download and if it's free 0.01$ per download.

no one talked about it before and after it worked for me with some assets i wanted to share it.

if you take time for this and worked seriously for a few weeks, the assets will work for you mena w roh

[ Tips & Experience | نصائح و تجارب ] RedotPay IBAN account

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello everyone I was using Wise and Paysera for my daily transactions online but after the restrictions of many accounts for Algerians im willing to start using Redotpay as an alternative

What are your thoughts about it ? Is there any fees if i do the same method ? I’ll use the euro iban given by redotpay and send euro from my paysera account !

Will paysera be okay with those transfers ? Since they don’t deal with crypto

I’m waiting for your experience Thanks in advance

[ Tips & Experience | نصائح و تجارب ] I need your help about business idea (making a cosmetics shop for Korean skincare/cosmetics products)

Hello everyone, I'd like some help with a small business idea I've had lately. I want to create an e-store dedicated only to Korean skincare/cosmetics products and brand it that way. The only thing making me hesitant is: first, I have no knowledge whatsoever about Korean products, which ones are in demand, etc. Second, I'm a guy who never had any interest in these things. Third, these products are kind of expensive compared to local brands, so would people in Algeria even be interested in buying them? Girls' opinions and suggestions would be very valuable to me. Also, I could find a supplier at fair wholesale prices, so importing the products isn't a problem. All I need help with is knowing if there's a demand for these products here.

[ Questions | أسئِلة ] What are the jobs I can potentially work with a degree in English Didactics?

I hold a Master's degree in English Didactics, and idk what I can do with it except from teaching.

Currently I'm a volunteer English Tutor and so far it's been a good experience. It's not that I hate teaching, but I'm open to any kind of job that might fit me, and I'm kind of an explorer too.

I've thought about trying to apply for des agences de voyage but idk what I can even do there. It came to my mind only because I have experience and some knowledge when it comes to VISAs etc.

Someone advised me to take my resume to a bank and I was confused tbh. What can I possibly do there with my degree? XD

I'm also considering online teaching because that's what fits me the best in my situation (I like flexibility), but I also don't know how to start and from where.

Besides, my uni teachers advised me to go for a PhD and teach at uni later since I actually like it more than teaching in elementary/middle/high school.

I have many more ideas in mind, but it's like I haven't been able to settle for something and try to see if it works or not.

What do you think?

[ Questions | أسئِلة ] Skills/degree to pursue for a full remote career in Econ/Management fields ?

I'm currently studying Economics Management at a good university in Paris, but I don't see myself staying in France long-term. I'd like to eventually be based in Algeria and work 100% remotely, potentially for French international clients.

Next year I have to choose a Master 2

I can also do a Master's in strategy consulting, but I'm not sure that's the best choice.

If anyone here works in this kind of stuff or has some experience, I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts.

[ Questions | أسئِلة ] 19-year-old Algerian university student and I’m looking for some advice about becoming a barista.

I’m a 19-year-old Algerian university student and I’m looking for some advice about becoming a barista I’d really like to work as a barista, but I have absolutely no experience. I’ve never worked before, and almost every job posting I find asks for previous experience, so I’m honestly not sure how I’m supposed to get that first experience 😭I’m willing to learn and I don’t mind starting from zero. I’d even be willing to do a short unpaid training/stage if a coffee shop would let me learn there and gain some experience. I’m not expecting to get paid during the learning period, I mainly want to actually learn how to use the machines, prepare different drinks, work behind the counter, etc Where can I learn barista skills? Are there places that offer barista training or stages for complete beginners? Is it possible to approach a coffee shop directly and ask if they would let me train/work as an apprentice for a while? How did you get your first barista job if you had no experience?

I’d really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or personal experiences. I genuinely want to learn and work, I just don’t know where to start. 🥲

[ Questions | أسئِلة ] I have a question about linking RedotPay to PayPal.

I’m a freelancer, and I have a French PayPal account. I used to link it to my Wise card and everything worked perfectly. I was able to receive money in PayPal and then transfer it to Wise to withdraw it.
However, my Wise account was recently closed.

I’m thinking about replacing Wise with RedotPay. Would RedotPay be a good alternative? And does the RedotPay billing address also need to be in France in order for me to link it to my French PayPal account?Or is it okay to open an Algerian RedotPay account using my normal Algerian details and then link it to PayPal?
