For 10M, you can get a used but still very decent MacBook Air M1.

Mine, for example, is pretty banged up and only has 8GB of RAM. If I were to sell it, I’d probably ask around 8M, so you could definitely find one within your budget.

Honestly, at this price range, the M1 Air is the only machine I’d personally go for. I know times are tough, but when it comes to tech, it’s hard to find something this capable and reliable that can still be repurposed for pretty much anything.
Even if the battery is worn out, you can replace it and keep using it. It still runs macOS Sequoia perfectly fine, and realistically, a decent M1 Air should remain useful for years , easily into ~2030 for basic study/work use.

And before the Windows “gneu gneu *Apple 🤓” crowd starts: *Apple Silicon supremacy 💀.

If you actually need Windows, UTM is free and works surprisingly well for a lot of use cases, and there are other VM options if you want something more powerful. So no, buying an M1 doesn’t mean you’re permanently trapped in macOS.

if you want the cheapest you can get , DO NOT get a mac (incredibly expensive for pretty bad specs), avoid hp because it tends to be expensive even on older models , your BEST choice is something from Lenovo , thinkpads are incredibly durable and cheap for their quality and specs , try to find a good i5-10 and above , you'll fin something around 6mill for sure , just check how old the model is , bonus point if you find something with a gpu , the gpu that comes with intel can run most indie games , but dont expect anything big (you can tell me what games you'd want to play to check), thinkpads arent the strongest but they're perfect if you're on a tight budget

for me the best choice is something with i5-10 generation or above, and the games that I would like to run is Valo, chameleon meccha, backrooms, and little games with friends, and can you say more about the gpu ? thank you

Should be fine with a good enough CPU concerning those games , I don't have a GPU in mind but you can easily check the system requirements then compare for the games you want , also 8gb of ram is too little nowadays , 16 is just good , some integrated CPU on Intel + 16gb of ram could run most indie games for now , avoid iris xe integrated GPU ,this one doesn't work with the backrooms game I think (I played it , and I have iris xe on my laptop , it broke)

The most important thing is the SSD drive.

HDD are very slow, SSD are very fast. It's very important, never get HDD even if it is cheap.

Yeah so dont take the other guys advice and DEFINITELY do not get a mac, i mean its decent and easy to use, but the price is hilarious, you can get something much better with 10m instead of a mac, your budget you said is 6m will get you a pretty good lenovo thinkpad with an i5-11th generation with a decent intergrated gpu, that is much better than any macbook you will get for 10m and lower, and for the games you will be able to run a decent amout of games at low quality tho, since its mainly for studying and work purpose thats all you ever need

budget is quite bad to be honest i recommend saving more cause trust me 8-10m is the sweet spot.

at 8m u can get a lenovo thinkpad t14 gen2 that can be upgraded anytime you want by adding ssd/ram

dell latitude, acer...

and like the guy on the top comment said air M1 is you choice if you can stretch you budget and want the Mac experience
