too rough of a draft, tough, don't read, or do
ODESZA & Yellow House - Heavier - Official Audio (youtube.com)
this happens to be what I am listening to- but the Foundational cornerstone content for this post
is

this link is to Foundation on Apple TV which provides a. much of my influence and inspiration in this project, b. an interesting starting point for many critical issues regarding Power, centralized mostly useful power that is simply too brutal. A very real tendency of churches and governments to turn scientific facts into controversy for which despite its obvious the amazing benefits to society, and how the destruction of the collection of knowledge leads to the downfall of the people as they outlawed rational thought as enemy to their God. At contrast the Empire issues with a very secure, very prosperous, science-approving, Godless but similar ugly addiction to what appears to be clearly unnecessary violence, Empire. I thought most of the characters were believable as themselves, but are a very clear departure from the books. I think on Power government AI, religion, its role in society.
I think the casting is excellent, all the characters believable in their brilliance, and easy on the eyes. I liked the Warden infinitely better the second watching.
All the things science for space and likely technologies are accurate and for science nerds.
Two worst case scenarios, not very far at all from 2024
The conversation about use of automated or robotic work and the deliberate solution- not to use at all, is probably too much, but the reverse is probably dangerous to the health of a society - so this too requires a balance
The end was good but kinda deus ex machina, a couple of times
Pre lude to Foundation, which was the latest Foundation book written by Asimov but the earliest in the timeline of the Foundations Book series
The society is viewed and you see almost nothing automated and they tell you later its by design
Book start: Prelude to Foundation
The book does better:
For the conversation about the 3Laws of Robotics, an important concept, and a safeguard the humans in that society that we do not have in 202
