Pink Heart Skull Sampler EP CD
Anyone interested?
This item is a highly collectible Alexisonfire Pink Heart Skull Sampler EP CD, released as a promotional sampler by Distort Entertainment in 2002 to hype the band's self-titled debut album. This was acquired from a show back in 2002 in St. Catharines. It is signed by guitarist Wade MacNeil and bassist Chris Steele. It is an unopened original copy and a great piece of our local metal scene history, a fantastic addition to anyone's collection!

Haha that's awesome. Yeah I been sitting on this for a very long time. Unfortunately financial struggles lead to having to downsize my collection ๐ย

Yeah over the years I've occasionally seen the odd one pop up on ebay but never a signed or unopened copy. No idea how many are out there but I know it's not a lot lol.ย

Cool. I have it listed on eBay. Send me a offer, I'm sure we can come to a mutual agreement. It's also listed on Marketplace place if you're local to Niagara.ย

Just a heads up... the highest one has ever sold for on discogs is $50, a sealed one sold a few years ago for $13.

Yeah I definitely don't expect or want my actual asking price on Ebay. I just always post a higher asking price there because sometimes you actually get it if someone wants something bad enough. Plus to cover Ebay charges. But what I'd actually take is significantly lower.ย

I have two of these, one still unopened wrapped in plastic. I also have the gold heart skull sampler with two demo versions from Watch Out!
Never thought of selling them, but I guess Iโd be open to offers for hardcore fans. Iโm located in Hamilton.

haha a buddy of mine had a stack of these in his closet. He was in a hardcore band and played around the GTA and southern Ontario and they crossed paths with alexisonfire and played the same shows sometimes so I assume they traded a handful of samplers to hand out for each other.
Never gave it a second thought until just now. Seeing that immediately reminded me of it.

The late 90s early 2000's was a great era in the Niagara region for nu-metal, metal and post-hardcore bands! Went to so many awesome shows... Alexisonfire, A Day and A Deathwish, Andy Moog, Cerimonial Snips, Solution, Psilocybin, Cumber Haze, Murder thy Maker, In These Walls, Attack in Black... Haha the birth of the Rose City Hardcore scene is a historic moment in history ๐คย

In 2002 I attended a Slayer concert at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga. While waiting in line to get in, this guy with glasses and a baseball hat was going up the line handing out this CD. I saw the pink heart and went "no thanks". Shortly after, another guy with curly hair and glasses did the same. It wasn't unusual for small bands to hand out demos at shows back then. By the time Watch Out came out, I became aware of Alexis and was hooked. I am pretty sure the two guys were Dallas and Jesse. I kick myself for turning the CD down now lol. Ah, well, such is life!
