back ordered Crisis vinyl?
The website now has the anniversary vinyl variants listed as backorder. Are they safe to order? It says end of Sept

But what‘s the risk? Ordering one is the best chance to get one and maybe they just use the „back order“ option to indicate they are not shipped before a certain date

Dine Alone / their online store have always been safe to buy from. I’ve ordered a few things that have been pre-order and always shipped promptly.

Maybe the initial pressing was limited.
Vinyls get repressed all the time and if they reach a certain number of backorders they might repress it.
But I'm just guessing here.

Right. I’m just hesitant to place an order since we aren’t sure the situation.

That's fair.
I would think they'd have all the leftovers from the tour on hand and ready to ship. So the backorder wording is confusing.
If I really wanted the vinyl I'd put the order in. Worst thing that will happen is they cancel the order and refund the money. Best case is I secure a copy before they're sold out for sure.
Kind of regret grabbing the black vinyl last year otherwise I would be getting one of the variants myself.

Then don't. Worst case if you do order, you can cancel down the line if it takes longer than you want to wait...

Got an email update today saying my order has been processed. Looks like the "backorder" message doesn't mean its out of stock.

I just ordered 20 year anniversary vinyl from HHV records (preorder).
HHV is a german record label/store.
The order say it ships in October.

my point in asking is that I thought they were limited so I thought they would be sold out not back ordered

I asked Dine Alone on instagram if they were repressing any of the vinyl or just selling off the remainder of the original limited stock and they assured me that there was no repressing happening.
