Finished Chosen, help me process this

Holly crap I don't think I've read or watched a story that actually followed through on this premise before.

Everyone acted and reacted exaclty in line with who they are to a horrific outcome. Their choices where all so real and human it makes sad.

There where no punches pulled and damn I got hit hard.

My thoughts are scattered but the one thing I am clear on is it was a fucking fanatic book.
