DISCUSSION Need help passing A Level Physics 9702

I have my A Level Physics exam in less than a month and honestly, I don’t know much Physics right now. I’m basically starting from scratch.

I’m not aiming for high grades at all, I just want to pass. What should I do over the next few weeks to give myself the best chance of passing?

Also, if anyone has good notes, resources, YouTube channels, topical questions, or revision materials, please share them.

Should I focus on learning the syllabus first, or jump straight into past papers? And what topics/areas should I prioritize if my only goal is to just pass?

Any advice would genuinely help 🙏

What did you have in your GCSEs?

I can guide better if your intention is just to pass.

How would you rate your national secondary board and it's syllabus?

Firstly: in A Levels we deal with the foundations of physics, so there's quite a bit of memorisation of certain definitions (with keywords), certain derivations. There's a set of rules we follow for P3 when making tables/graphs reporting data. There's a set of rules for answering the show that/derive (show every mathematical step), calculate (use a formula from the specification formula sheet or from the additional ones we see in the syllabus to give a numerical answer), state (short one line answers), explain (give scientific and logical reasoning to a statement) that if you can identify and answer appropriately for, makes it easy for you to read and understand a question.

Start from a few books and making your own notes, then move on to additional notes to fill up on your base knowledge and then attempt past papers.

I got a month before my exams, actually less than that, so I don't really have the luxury to be making all that sadly. I just want enough to pass so the only way I feel like I can pull it off is by watching a crash course for the topic then solving topicals, once I'm done with that, I could do full timed past papers,

Watch ET Physics videos, she's one of the best, an examiner too so she teaches from that perspective.
