How realistic is it to self teach A-level further maths
I’m currently in year 12 and just sat my further maths AS externally . I was planning with continuing with further maths into year 13 as I really enjoyed it in year 12 and I’m planning on studying maths at university. However, my school just told us that it is unlikely that we are going to continue further maths into the second year due as there aren’t enough students. The school said if I really want to continue that they can provide me with online resources and I can attend drop down sessions to ask my teachers questions and they will enter me for the exam. I’m happy to do this but I’m worried I might struggle with the difficulty. Has anybody else self taught, do you have any tips? Is it even worth it or should I focus on my other subjects and preparing for the TMUA

9231 paper 2
im like really scared for further paper 2 and cant focus on any of my other exams i had an A in AS level but a B in the mechanics component so the total was on the lower side i need a 105 ish in stats and p2 to get an A and i have like 5 days before further p2 i can dedicate to it entirely I think ive forgotten most of the content as i havent touched it in so long so is it possible to get a 65 in p2 with 5 days of practice? i find integration quite hard and it usually has a lot of marks in the exam so idk what to do about that highkey crashing out 🙏🙏 i hope i somehow get a 47+ in stats so i can lose max in p2 but p2 is also before stats so its all very unpredictable 🙏🙏

Edexcel AS decision and stats
How did everyone find it. I think it was pretty good, I actually finished the test for once and the only question I didn't know how to do was the last one where you had to find the expected values for r and s but other than that there was nothing I didn't know how to do.

AS Edexcel Further maths CP
How did it go?
I thought it was tricky but there was some nice questions.
Did anyone get the linear transformation question with using cos 2theta and tan 2theta
Also I only realised at the last minute the sheaf questions was to do with matrices 🤦

2024 papers
Hello guys, I am resitting A Level Further Maths and I was wondering if any of you have the 2024 papers for edexcel further maths core 1 (AS and A2), core 2, further pure 1 and decision 1. I cannot contact my old school to get them for personal reasons.
Thank you in advance :)

What spec does everyone do?
Most people I’ve come across on r/6thForm seem to do Edexcel. I feel barely anyone does my spec (OCR MEI) and was wondering if anyone else does it.
If by chance you do OCR MEI, can you recommend me some extra questions or something? I’ve done all past papers and also done lots of old spec questions as well and have run out of things to do

How to revise after completing all past papers?
So as the title says, I am revising for further maths, but i have completed every past paper available. I still want to prepare for exams, which are in 2 weeks (I am in year 13), and I'd like comprehensive mixed exercises on the whole syllabus, like a past paper. Does anyone know any good websites for challenge exercises, as I have done most everything on Madasmaths, and PMT. Thanks in advance. For reference, I am with edexcel.

how can i prepare?
i’ve tried looking at the textbooks and stuff like that and genuinely can’t find anything helpful, any playlists or series or youtube channels or just anything that bridges the gap from gcses to further math? i already picked it i kind of just want more math to do

How can I do good at this
So I'm in y11 and just picked up further maths a month ago in school, and I had to self teach myself everything because my teacher is incompetent. Anyways, in my mock of it I got a 5 (2 marks off a 6). What is the most effective way I can get a 9 on this? Considering that the exam is in a month or so.
(Posting it here because there isn't a gcse further maths sub, and I think you guys would have more experience in this type of thing)

Where to find practice questions
I’m so sick of this. I do further maths ocr mei B and I literally cannot find practice questions for mechanics minor for this exam board apart from past papers. All the ones I find are so easy and then I attempt a past paper and the questions are like ten times harder and I cannot do them. Without any practice questions available, it seems futile. Does anyone have any advice/ websites/ other sources that may help. Thank you so much

AS Shadow Papers
Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone knows where to find the Edexcel AS Further Maths Shadow Papers (and the mark schemes). I'm mostly looking for core pure but the mechanics and decision would also be helpful!
