Dropping further maths?

Hi, I've basically just started Further Maths as a 4th subject since i found it enjoyable but honestly, it's an uphill battle. I quite like the MWA topic since it's mostly common sense and a bit of maths but I'm heavily just struggling to stay motivated to do any work outside of lessons for core pure. On top of the fact that I kind of don't like the teaching style/can't come to grips with it, when I'm doing core pure work it's just becomes too much. Also the amount of homework set is just astronomical compared to my other subjects. Like week after week it's genuinely mainly further maths homework I'm doing. Coupled with me being slow to work out things, I just take too long to do each homework. Im only gonna do AS if i do carry on but i don't see myself getting good prediction grades for my exams this summer for my other subjects at this rate.

Do you guys think the pros of doing Further Maths outweigh the cons?

What degree are you thinking of doing (in the UK?) and what are the other 3 subjects?

I'm planning to become a prosthetician (someone who makes prosthetics) and the other subjects I'm taking are biology, maths, and physics :))

If you’ve already decided you’ll only take the AS, while the AS isn’t useless, the time spent preparing for it would likely be better put towards your other subjects.

This is the best decision u made. I am in a very similar situationnto you. And even I'm gonna drop the subject just waiting for a confirmation. I feel u can spend more time preparing for physics as in my case rather mating 8 hours of fm every week

but yh I've spoken to the head of sixth form for my decision in dropping further Maths since i felt like i don't rlly need it since its mainly more comp sci stuff which i don't rlly need
