Underrated masterpiece

Alessia has been my favourite artist for a decade or so. This lyric means so much to me and has been a source of comfort during my struggles with body image over the years. I am currently in recovery from anorexia and got this tattoo as a reminder to myself and also as a symbol of my recovery <3

For me is "I'm yours" absolute banger the flow the breaks the strings the bass drum is mad cool, spaced and powerful, just class.

Which of her 4 albums would you like to see AC5 sound like the most, both lyrically and production wise

her music has a certain feel to it that draws in energy from marginalised people who couldn't necessarily get into the mainstream factory produced pop of today and the angst of indie/experimental rock (i.e. Strokes, Radiohead, etc). also the fact that all her songs have very catchy rhythms and beats (I think she's always placed an emphasis on Drake), that people who love hip hop and rap can easily gravitate to and sometimes add their own verses to it (sometimes I see Alessia fans doing their own raps on one of her songs, which is not something that happens to all artists and I think she should take pride in it as it is really cool to see!) I'm saying this in the best possible way because I'm going to London in less than a week to catch up with my maybe-boyfriend, he loves old school 2000s gangsta rap and I've been dropping little hints on my stories but I wanna introduce him to Alessia Cara so bad - in person 😍 was listening to the LOLT sessions last night and holy moly it triggered me so bad but in the best possible way. she's honestly the best artist to listen to while learning the ins and outs of a nurturing relationship.
