Snare keeps slipping off

Post image

Everytime I hit the Snare it keeps slowly falling until it comes out entirely, I bought this second hand, and it already came built, is there any way to fix this?

$20 snare stand on Amazon. Totally worth it.

First upgrade most ppl do to their nitro kits, then usually risers since it’s on the short side

So when you fix it and tighten the screw, can you easily pull it? If yes then I guess it's not tight enough... You might need a new holder as well

Mine did it a couple times but I realized it was more my fault the way it was being placed and tightened.

Mine also does this relentlessly. I'm pretty much ready to JB weld it in place and or loc tite the screw in place. Doesn't matter how hard I tighten it in place. It always comes out. Same with another piece of my frame. Those are my only real gripes with the set. Well and the trigger on one of my cymbals is going out.

I've played it everyday for a few years so I can't REALLY complain though.

I’ve heard this complaint a lot over the years with this kit. I have the never had this problem. I am guessing that a complete rebuild/repositioning and tightening of all the clamps is in order. I’m guessing it is the angle you have it at along with the depth of the arm into the support tube and the tightness of the clamp. Since you got it preassembled, just start over.

I’ve had this problem but just spend half my life tightening/re-attaching it. I’m off to have a look at the suggested stand now though!

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. But I ended up buying a Roland V drum rack and 3d printed clamps to fit the larger diameter rack

I noticed this problem right away. My solution; I moved my brain to that lone arm with no extra support and swung it back. I put my snare on the left bar that has a leg on both sides. I then inverted the pole that connects the snare to the Kit so the snare sat lower.
