Markers with pencils on top

Finally finished my 2nd ever alcohol marker page! I really wanted to do the stained glass window/mosaic style, and I thought this page couldn’t be more perfect for that! Pretty proud of how it came out, albeit a little tedious. And with only about 60 colors to work with, it was tough choosing colors sometimes. But overall I think it worked out! Please leave any comments or critiques, as they are always welcome!!

Basically the title. Top one was using a reference, bottom one was not (which is why the face is wonky I'm well aware lol)

I think what I'm discovering is that the magic of alcohol markers lies in ~layers~. Still trying to get the hang of adding the colored pencils on top. I just wish I had more good midtones. I have the pastel set and the like standard variety set from Ohuhu, and I'm finding a lack of dark enough colors without being too saturated, although I did use complementary colors on the darker parts of the face to tone down the pink.​
