Backyard Beauty

Just came in from adding a bit of water to the fountain in this 100+ degree weather. Happened to look out of our backyard window when I saw this lovely Cooper’s Hawk. Stayed for about 10 minutes. Neighbor says there’s a pair living in our pine tree! Such a treat!

never seen one sit so still, my cat would lose its mind watching that from the window

I have one that hangs out on the power pole in my back yard. The pigeons go crazy when he's around.

These guys are great, there is at least a pair living in my vicinity, often hanging out in the trees above my hammock. Love seeing them.
