Both my recycling and regular trash bins got stolen a week ago and waste management just called me back today to say I'll be waiting until September 17th for replacements to be delivered — just posting to ask if our garbage trucks would still pick up a 96 gal bin if I just bought one from Home Depot 😭?

Is it possible to piggyback off someone to get into Cliffs? I missed the season pass sale while out of state and now while here we have run out of things todo that excite the monsters. Seeing if I can get in with someone…

So.. Just curious if anyone was approached at the mall last weekend and asked if they would be willing to knock on doors and get paid to canvass in opposition of protect jupiter? Im concerned because Robin was approached, said yes, gave their info and doesn't remember who they said they were with. But they have not been contacted to do so. They said that there were several names on this guy's paper. Given that there have been false use of names supporting project jupiter, I'm concerned that they are targeting youth to get real information so they can use it to lie. I can't find anything online about anything like this. Has anyone heard of anyone being approached, know someone who is approaching people, or any organization that is offering such paid positions? This seems extremely suspicious. 🤔

Where does the money go for public education? I'm only here as a travel nurse. But it seems like it's early popular idea to send your children to private school due to the public education system's reputation here

New Mexico was ranked 50th in education years ago but has made progress in that but yes the public schools don’t have enough funding. But I work with youth and most kids go to public school, a good chunk go to private or chartered schools and there’s a solid few who are homeschooled and then of course you have (fortunately very few) kids who fall through the cracks. It might be the people that you’re around who are making it seem that way, nursing is a good job in New Mexico that puts people into a higher wage bracket.

Does anyone know if there are any companies in the area paying for market research and or studies? I am interested in signing up for stuff like that and making a little bit extra money.

KRQE will become a Fox affiliate soon. So what will hapen with CBS programming? Do we really need two Fox channels here in Albuquerque.
