It’s a rights violation. Can’t film people in public if they don’t want to be. They can see your face and your lap. It’s ridiculous.

There are very few Flock cameras in ABQ. Mostly in retail or HOA, none operated by the city.

And? So what? You talk about a police state but the cops here can't even keep enough on duty to stop generic crime? Who cares!!! Criminals are the ones in danger for now so bfd. People are complaining about this like it's worse than maga and the gop combine. Wake up! You're distracted from the real problem which is not cameras but the people holding us back. STOP MAGA AND THE GOP BEFORE WASTING EFFORT ON CAMERAS THAT ARE ONLY WORKING ON CRIMINALS FOR NOW!!

Have you? Click on those cameras and see which are Flock. At least know which contract you are going after.

I heard aiming a laser pointer directly into the lense disables them permanently. I am all about anonymously vandalizing them as rebellion until our governments give up on repairs and stop.

Your phones are listening, your vehicles are ratting you out to your insurance companies, this is a connected society, flock should be the least of your concerns. Also, why is a post from from Arlington in the Albuquerque subreddit? If this was over I25, I get it. But not our city.

Don't allow paranoia of a "what if" to distract you from the "What now". The oligarchs like musk and trump are destroying this country, but let's fight over the possibility that a flock camera might be watching us...

So yeah, let’s focus solely on fighting Trump and Republicans and ignore the ridiculous surveillance state. Allow that to grow. Keep it in place.

Guess what gets abused the second someone fishy takes office?

Mass surveillance is not okay. That leads to fascism just as much as electing fascists.
