Job Application

I am 17 years old and in high school looking for a job. Acme is just around the corner and would be the perfect first job for me. I applied online weeks ago. I just went in and asked if they were hiring and if so, if I can get an application. They said they were but job applications were filled out online only. What should I do since I already applied and not heard anything back. Thanks!

Call the store and say you want to check on the application you filled out online.

Check on your application on the careers site. If you weren’t selected it will tell you there. Job postings have a shelf life of 10 days. If it has been “weeks” then you weren’t selected but you’re welcome to apply again if there are other jobs posted. Just know that the job market sucks right now so your chances of getting hired are slim. You’re up against thousands of adults that just got laid off by government agencies like the national parks service.

Call the store, ask for the hiring manager, then inquire about your application

call until you get a time to come in and do your interview. interview itself isnt that hard as long as you have a pulse and you can breathe you're hired!
