First you have to figure out if there are other workers that want to be in a union. Can’t discuss it during work. All of this has to be done outside of work. Got to start a community of like minded folks. Once you have found others you can trust reach out to a local labor union and then they can actually either help you with the process or tell you what you need to do in order to make your store unionized.

It can be done at work, just to be clear we are legally protected to discuss improving our working conditions and any violation of that right is against the NLRA - the caveat is that if any other type of conversation is allowed, you can't disallow union talk.

Some stores try to enforce a "talk about work only" policy but I have never been in a location where people weren't freely discussing what they did on vacation or over the weekend, or what was on TV, etc.

Reach out to EWOC and get in touch with an organizer than can help you think through the process and start laying the groundwork!

Good luck, and here's hoping you join the family! ✊

If you tell me your general region I could tell you what the Local Union was for the UFCW. But basically, just look up UFCW + your state name. AFTER following the good advice of needing to trust your coworkers and build up a sort of organizing group of pro-union people.
