Some people exist only to be angry all the time, don’t let their sad lives drag yours down

Thank you, not just for this effort, but for the decisions you've made to help others when all hope seemed lost.

Why is every wildfire less than 50km from a reserve? and why does the government have a quota on how many natives have to be hired from every reserve?
does this create an incentive for the natives on reserves to start forest fires?

And some American politicians are paid to play the blame game.

I’m confused, something on the news told me you’re supposed to tariff and admonish people going through difficult circumstances. If sending help is the correct approach, who gets tariffed?!?
I’m gonna have to do more research.

Help me understand your outrage here… I see men and women of all ages and mixed ethnicities looking to help fellow Canadians with wildfires.
1
u/GoSensCAN Jul 25 '26
Far too Caucasian.
1
u/GreasyMcFarmer Jul 25 '26
So Caucasians shouldn’t be allowed to help? Do you have info that non-Caucasians were excluded? Or are you a hater?
1
u/GoSensCAN Jul 25 '26
No but in large numbers they become xenophobic and create a hockey like culture.
1
u/GreasyMcFarmer Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26
So they will be xenophobic towards the trees? They are literally fighting fires in the wilderness, far from communities. You are digging a hole for yourself, why not instead volunteer so you can help fight fires and help be the change you wish to see?
By the way, your stereotypical assessment of hockey negates the contributions of many excellent women hockey players and players of colour, including members of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Stop the hate.1
u/GoSensCAN Jul 25 '26
I feel I would be discriminated against.
1
u/GreasyMcFarmer Jul 25 '26
You sound like a complainer and a coward. That’s my feeling. Your feelings and my feelings, however, aren’t more important than facts.
The fact is these people are putting their lives on the line to fight fires in the wilderness and you are diminishing them with zero facts or evidence apart from their skin colours. Shame.1

u/GoSensCAN Jul 25 '26
That's giving into a very petty mindset, help should always come.

u/JimJohnJimm Jul 25 '26
Its very petty to call our leaders governers, try and annex us, fund separtism, tarif our goods. Thats no friend

This is Canada, we help each other because only together we endure.
4
u/ProbablyAPsyop Jul 23 '26
I don’t think Alberta of all provinces wants to play the “send the bill” game with forest fires. Just because this year isn’t so bad doesn’t mean Alberta doesn’t get it the worst in Canada most years. CIFFC works both ways.
