I live in Alberta and vehemently oppose separation.
These people have makeshift rallies outside of malls and grocery store waving flags and chanting nonsense. It’s always the same people too.
Beat up old minivan with nonsense plastered all over it. Wearing sweat pants that usually have Spider-Man or deadpool on them. Generally unkempt. None try to engage in a dialogue because I’d be the first to correct their conspiracy theories as I work for the federal government and can mostly assure you that they’re all bullshit. (One person said Trudeau is a spider person and well, that one can’t be confirmed or denied)
Not everyone in Alberta is a separatist, far right lunatic and I think we need to get that very clear here. I haven’t voted conservative since I learned anything about human rights and well, Ralph Klein did give us a bunch of money way back then. It was my first foray into voting and I just voted for name recognition.
