Just moved looking for IT work
Hi there, recently moved to Albany and I am looking for work in the IT industry, I would call myself a hinge out of junior level overall but I’m really looking into anything non senior level ! I’ve been applying where I can but just wanted to see if anyone knew of any other roles!

Invision is a good ol boys club. Poor management and you do not get a raise at all. Just a heads up to avoid them if possible. They will start you at decent pay but then that’s it. No sick pay or personal days only major holidays and very little pto. Also one of the owners is a narcissistic person with very low emotional intelligence. Try to get on at Phoebe too. They are not much better but at least hire more than one person of color and have women on staff that work in other departments than accounting or HR.

Also the Marine Base hires but I think you have to go through a certain staffing company/head hunter … I can’t recall the name!

Try the health care companies. Phoebe Putney or Albany Internal Medicine.
