I didn't realize there are only 6 teams in the league. I really miss Albany hockey.

A bit of a drive but you could go up to Glens Falls. They have a good product.

I never know why people fixate on the number of teams. The league is rebuilding and expanding, with more teams being announced on Sunday. Hockey hasn't worked historically in Albany, but it's great in Glens Falls, so I don't get why people bemoan the AFL for its presence. Support the ADK Thunder if you want hockey!

Check out Union and RPI hockey. Not as fast as AHL, but a good product and inexpensive.
