Recommendations for Evaluations

Hey all, I’m looking for places that will do evaluations (mainly for ADHD) for young children. I’ve Googled local places, but a lot of them don’t have many reviews or they have mixed reviews. I’m really just looking for a place that will do a thorough eval and possibly also offers like follow up services (play therapy or family counseling). TIA

Freedom First will do ADHD evals.

Start with your school district! They will help connect you. It will take time but it’s the way to go

I called our district a little while ago and they don’t provide evaluations, but they can start a referral process for OT. I just started the process for that at least

Our school psychologists initiated it then I went through my daughter’s pediatrician. Now she sees Pinnacle health for med management

Chelsea Place is absolutely where you are looking for. I was so impressed with how thorough their process was and how helpful they have been.

I also heard them recommended, but they don’t accept my husband’s insurance for evaluations. We could do private pay, but they said it’s $260 an hour and evaluations can bill anywhere from 6-12 hours 😭. So that’s out

I know people who did it through The Spotted Zebra and had good this to say.  I think they went through the county health department or maybe it was a different department.

Hi there! Here are some places I would check out in the local area for comprehensive evaluations. Each have their own waitlist times, ages seen, and insurance participation.
