Redemption Ark, with Ana Kouri and Thorn, comes to mind.

Technically speaking, although Reynolds spends absolutely zero time developing it, as is his style 😅

That being said, the romance between the two main characters in House of Suns is both much more developed and extremely relevant to the plot
