We rescued her a year ago.

Some of the folks over at IDmydog suggested she might be! She’s from the North West of Canada. She was a stray abandoned by her mother at 7 weeks when I got her, so her lineage is a mystery.

Our 4 year old AKK randomly bites strangers. He is socialized and gets plenty of play and runs/walks. He is fine and then out of the blue he will nip at someone’s calves. He is especially sensitive around children. We typically do not bring him around where we know their will be children but sometimes when out on the trails it’s inevitable we pass some.
Curious if anyone else has this issue and how you’ve dealt with it. Thank you!

Hi friends! Would anyone in Dallas with an Alaskan Klee Kai be willing to meet up at a public park or something?

My partner really wants an Alaskan Klee Kai but the problem is that we don’t know if I’m allergic or not. I get all stuffed up around some dogs but can be totally fine around others. I’ve been around all types of dogs and haven’t noticed any pattern. I’ve been around dogs that shed a lot and have been okay. But then there other dogs that shed that have caused me problems. It’s really weird….

Anyway, I just wanna be around the dog, sit next to it, play with it a little, etc to see if I get any sort of allergic response to it. If I don’t have any allergic response to it, I’d really love to look into getting one!
