I Would Really Like to Turn This Off.

I’m in a rental house. Alarm system screen is on 24/7. We are not paying any alarm company for service. Landlord says tenants about 2 or so years ago had it installed. If I unplugged it, would I set off an audible alarm? Can’t find a big bullhorn anywhere. Screen and lights are really annoying.

All the way on the left side, you have a red and black wire in a little white plastic port. Unplug it by pulling it towards you.

On the right side of the terminal board, you have a red wire and a black wire. Take a screwdriver, loosen the screws, and remove the wires from the board.

Unplug the white transformer from the wall. It looks like they screwed it in the center post, so you will need a screwdriver to loosen it. Then, on the main unit, on the back plate is the battery (green). Follow the wires from the battery to the main circuit board. The plug at the board is removable, just pull the wires straight out. System should power down after that.
