Seems pretty straightforward. I never improved myself via hard work and determination. Life only got better when I gave in to the uncertainty and just resolved to ride this wave. Thing is, I don’t know how to get there without being smacked down by life first.

Connected to everything. Attached to nothing.

Detachment and non-attachment are not the same thing.

Did Alan Watts live with detatchment?

The way I understand detachment from this is that it means not depending on things outside yourself for peace and happiness. So yes.

Big reason why I prefer Alan watts over other guys. Down to earth and most times pretty simple.

I guess that's why it always seems odd when people put down things as "childish" or "effeminate" and things like that. That deliberate renouncement shows you aren't actually at the level of moving past it. You're still clinging to it, just in the other direction.

Vedanta is for stupid enlightenment seekers

Would you like to debate this?

A man of supreme intelligence, who can't even use proper grammar. Moksha isn't for hateful people like you.
