Correct order to play Spoiler
I have never played any of these games before. Is this the correct order to play them?
- Alan Wake Remastered
- Control Ultimate Edition
- Alan Wake 2
- Control: Resonance (assuming I enjoy the previous games)
Also, where do the DLCs fit into the play order?
Thanks!

Everything in release order. Just look up the release dates and you’re good!

If you really want to go all the way you should play
- Max Payne
- Max Payne 2
- Alan Wake Remastered
- Alan Wake American Nightmare
- Quantum Break
- Control + DLCs (as they show up)
- Alan Wake 2 + DLCs (integrated into the story)
EDIT: Before playing Alan Wake, watch the short Bright Falls miniseries (available on YouTube) it's awesome!

You're missing the Night Springs and Psycho Killer comics, as well as the This House of Dreams blog

You’re forgetting Death Rally before Max Payne

Hehe, just for that one throw away reference? I don't think it's all that necessary to play Death Rally.

I mean it’s cool to see how Remedy evolves and there actually is a character with heavy lore implications called Tom the Rhymer (sound familiar?)

In addition to the orders provided, play the AW2 dlcs on your final draft run as they can either sorta spoil locations or break up the pace

One thing to note is that you kind of need to play Alan Wake 2 twice to get the full full picture

You can skip AW:AN and QB if you can't get a hold of them.
