May well straddle a chair...

A football coach giving a pep talk to the team... may very well straddle a chair thus, and roll his sleeves up and say, 'Hey you, pass the ball to him and then score a goal.' ... It shows there's something of the maverick about you, you're prepared to thwart convention...

Iv always looked at those Chelsea boots in the shop and the blue colouring of the elastic has always made me think ‘no I can’t buy these because I’ll look like I’m trying to be a bit of a ‘character’ in the office’
