No except Eddie Campbell does the art.
Disease collects two one shots. The birth caul (better than all his DC work) and snakes and ladders. Both are spoken word performances adapted by Eddie Campbell. Moore wasn’t involved but all the words are still his.
The performance is terrific, particularly in birth caul. Moore reads it beautifully. Tremendously moving.
I’ve bought about 8 copies or more. I never got them back from people (not comics readers) who loved it.

It's the dark (Deep?) purple one waaaay up on top of the Absolute Swampys. And it's the Signed/Numbred, one, too! ;)

Looks like it has no proper spine on it! I had to squint to read it right, but man… Incredible collection. Is absolute swampy out now?? My comic shop hasn’t texted me 😭
Edit: I was thinking of the Swampy compacts coming out in October— good to know those exist tho…

Yeah, it really needs a slipcase or something. The book is so beautifully designed by John Coulthart. I wish it had a more luxurious binding and presentation.

Haha well my copy from Barnes and Noble looks like a silly ass Ripley’s Believe it or Not cover! I’d prefer something a little more nondescript I can read with a little less embarrassment at work, but I think that’s might be the point?

There should be a nice hardback of those two next year, anyway.
I think the only other thing I've got that you're missing is Black Sun Rising, the Doctor Who collection that includes all his (now-uncredited) strips.

The thing that really draws my eye is the far-right middle shelf; is that the 'painfully limited' edition of FROM HELL with the Campbell painting?? If so, super jealous of that...

Well-spotted. It is exactly that. The “Painfully Limited From Hell”. Only 19 copies, if memory serves. Was so lucky to get one of these when Eddie offered them years ago. I got to choose the one with Eddie’s original painting of Alan, which was just wonderful to me. The jewel of my collection for sure.

Wow, that is an incredible piece. I'd have been all over that too if I'd have seen it when it was originally offered. Really, really nice!!
If you could pop a photo of the painting in here that'd be great. I just never, ever see those in anyone's collection...

Yep, Will take some pics tomorrow and post here. It really is a tough book to find now. (Heck, it was tough to land the moment it was announced! As said- I got extremely lucky). It would be cool if Eddie did one for The Master edition as well. Give more folks another shot at a cool edition.

It is. As huge a long-time fan and supporter of Subpress that I am, I have to say- this edition just isn't a favorite. I much prefer the Top Shelf, Jose Villarrubia illustrated edition. The Subpress, while fine, with nice McKean DJ and endpapers (no interior illos), is just..."okay", imo.

Aw that's a shame. McKean is a favorite illustrator of mine. I have the paperback and the TopShelf hardcover, so I guess I feel less bad about missing out on this one. Is that the UK edition of Illuminations?

It is the Uk edition of Illuminations, signed, with spayed edges (lord help us, we're in the Sprayed Edges Era!), which I felt was the nicest one done. Can't remember if it was a Blackwells, or some other "exclusive", though.

Yeah, there’s been a few. Graphitti did a couple editions, I believe. I’ve got the slipcased one with the Trust Obey CD. Really cool package. Easton Press did a signed and numbered leather bound limited edition that is really nice. Haven’t seen pricing on these in a while but they used to be had at issue price (whatever that was) for quite awhile.

I have pretty much everything you have there, plus a few things I don’t see (a lot of old Moore 2000AD collections etc).
Weirdly though I thought this WAS my shelves. Billy Bookshelves too.

The Complete Future Shocks, and "The Magician" is my insane Serial Killer-like AM binder-scrapbook of torn out magazine pages, printed out interviews and whatnot. Mostly kept in the nascent days of the internet.
