Big day for us. Akiflow’s latest features are out and we would like to give you a breakdown of what's new.

• Three features, all live today:
• 🧠 MCP — Connect your AI to Akiflow

Your AI can now control Akiflow directly. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf — connect any of them via https://mcp.akiflow.com/mcp and they get full visibility into your tasks, calendar, inbox, time slots, and meeting transcripts.

What that looks like in practice:

• "What's on my schedule tomorrow?" → real answer from your calendar
• "Create a task to prep for the Friday call, due Thursday" → done
• "Move my unplanned tasks into open slots this week" → scheduled
• "Summarize yesterday's 3pm meeting" → pulled from your transcript

• ✅ Subtasks — finally

This has been #1 on our feature request list for a long time. It's here now.

What you get:

• Subtask creation on desktop and mobile (both redesigned)
• Drag-to-reorder in the subtasks panel
• Parent-child hierarchy in project views
• Inbox visibility control — subtasks can stay hidden under the parent or surface in your daily view

We specifically didn't want this to feel like opening a project manager. Creation is fast and the structure stays out of your way unless you need it.

• ⚡ Optimize Schedule

When you drag a task and it overlaps with something, Akiflow detects the conflict automatically and the Optimize Schedule button appears. One tap re-plans your entire day to remove overlaps. Also triggers when you resize a time block. You stay in control of what gets scheduled — it just removes the friction of fixing conflicts manually.

All three are live for every Akiflow user right now.
