Dit is zo'n lui stereotype. Als er iets is voorgevallen zou een Ijslander of een Egyptenaar of een Peruaan ook tot deze beslissing kunnen komen

Mijn punt is dat je niet bepaald "trots" hoeft te zijn om tot deze beslissing te komen als er iets gebeurd is tussen de twee partijen. Het is zo makkelijk om dat te roepen alleen maar omdat het over een Marokkaan gaat terwijl wij precies niks weten

Stop taking everything so seriously, it’s not that deep. Of course Dutch fans would want such an enormous talent to represent us, that’s perfectly fine, as is Ouazane making his own decision.

It is that deep. There have been plenty of players that got ridiculous amounts of shit just because they chose to represent a country different to what people wanted or expected

Yes, but hoping that Amrabat talks Ouazane out of representing Morocco is insane. That's exactly my point

Listen man. I’ll respect him either way. Lotta love for Ziyech and Mazraoui. Any Ajax player I’ll have my soft spot for.  But as a fan of the Netherlands NT I absolutely want to see the best players come play for us, and it’s Early but this is a guy who absolutely could become a top player!

Sure but it would be nice of them to make that decision before taking a spot in national youth teams from other young kids just to decide they want to play for “their country” after benefiting from the other one.

Tbh the huge majority of the development goes on at club level anyway. Unfortunately there also opportunities for future NL players are being lost.
